We had Marc Stephens for our last two behind the wheel lessons and he was extremely helpful, professional and definitely got our son ready for his behind the wheel exam, which he passed successfully. We have now used Alliance on all three of our kids and have recommended them to several friends. The website is easy to use as far as scheduling/managing lessons. First of all, I have another teacher from a different company and I just didn’t like it, so when I booked my hours to get lesson here. I was able to drive, it felt impossible but I did it. I failed my first time but my second I passed and I was grateful to get tips and information from the Instructor, if anyone is wondering Mark is the best guy for it. Great price, great teachers, non threatening, patience galore. Gerald worked with me until I felt confident I understood the technicalities of driving. I never wanted to drive before, so this was a big step for me. Gerald understood that and never pushed me to do things that I felt I wasn't ready for. He let me decide for myself, and you know, that really worked for me because I learned faster than I usually do! I would highly recommend this driving school to anyone who wanted to learn to drive. Gerald, Alliance Defensive Driving School's founder, is great to work with. He worked with both of our children who are now excellent, confident drivers. Both passed their driving tests with almost perfect scores. Our friends commented on how well my son drives and asked for Gerald when it was their turn to "teach their children to drive." So glad to see Gerald's School listed on Google Maps! Just want to throw in my two cents by saying: if you're thinking of taking driving lessons and looking for a calm, non-screaming, non-threatening instructor, look no further--Gerald's your man! This most applies if you are the nervous, scared-out-of-your mind type. Believe me, I must have been one of his worst students ever, yet not once did he ever lose his cool with me. Plus his prices are very fair. Some of the other bigger schools had higher prices and weren't as impressive in what they had to offer in terms of quality education. You got the feeling that they were basically in it for the money. With Gerald it's the exact opposite, he really cares about making sure you understand all the various nuances of driving safely. Soon you'll find yourself one of the best drivers out there and hopelessly critiquing the driving skills (or lack thereof) of your fellow motorists, muttering to yourself, "Gerald would say..." or "Tsk, tsk, poor driving skills, could use a lesson or two with Gerald...", and so on.
