I failed the first DMV behind the wheel test after 3 lessons with an instructor named Devi. She was rude, not good at explaining most things, and seemed to not really care for her job. I would expect that after paying 400 dollars, plus the 100 I paid her in cash to use her car for the DMV test, that she would at least treat customers with some sort of respect. She would grab the wheel while I was driving, when it wasn't necessary. She also didn't teach me turn signals and where anything was located in her car until 10 minutes before the test. Every car is different so it is necessary to go over this. I failed the first test, and after I failed she was rude to me as well. I booked one 2 hour lesson with an instructor who goes by "Manjeet, and he was great! I passed my behind the wheel test after just 2 hours with him! I got a lesson right before the test. He went in depth about the features in his car (his car is much newer and cleaner), and wasn't dangerously grabbing the wheel or having a mean attitude with me. Overall I would recommend Mission Driving School, but make sure to ask for instructor Manjeet. He is much better at teaching, and isn't straight up mean to customers who are paying 400 dollars. Reception is quick and responsive as well, which I appreciate.

I don’t know about all instructors working in this Driving School. However, I can guarantee you the person teaching in Palo Alto, Redwood City Mountain View area is really unprofessional. She supposed to took my son to DMV and show and practice necessary route and checklist. she didn’t do any of that . Also she didn’t take time to talk to us after they’re done. She just takeoff. When I call the school they send me the checklist, I can find that online. I pay the money for teach my son professionally, but it was a disappointment.Parents please Please don’t waste your money in this place. Find someone one

Business owner Balwant M. was established in 1991 with a team of Professional Instructors trained in skills & techniques from American schools... so parents can trust & bring their children here. to learn driving experience... My family lives in San Jose, including more than 20 relatives... More than 30 of our children and grandchildren have chosen "Mission Driving school" & passed their driver's license exam the first time. First exam... Don't waste time choosing this school or that school... our family would like to send our thanks & gratitude to Mr. Balwant M. for helping our family get a driver's license after only 2 weeks of training ( 12 hours ). I would like to introduce Mission Driving school to everyone who wants to get a driver's license quickly, those who have failed the test many times & those who have had a driver's license for a long time... but never drove... will be guided & Practice your skills to pass the exam & drive more confidently...

Great communication in the beginning and throughout the 3 day course. My daughter failed her behind the wheel and inquired about additional instruction. No response. I am a business owner and communication is key. They are a collect and forget about you business. My daughter also stated the last instructor was a different one than the previous days. The last one was constantly on the phone and offered little to know feedback. You would think on her last day, the instructor would ask if there is any maneuvers she would like to brush up on. No such offer. Good if you want to just get a certificate for insurance purposes, but try and get some feedback after the course and you can forget it.

Driving School?? More like HIT & RUN School!!!!!
Today at 5:55 pm this car hit my car and drove away. They did not step out to talk to me when I, myself, got out of my car. When I stepped out they just drove away. I was behind them on Hansen Ave where it meets Blacow Rd. in Fremont. They made a stop and pulled forward to make a left turn. When they pulled forward into traffic and decided to back up. I was stopped at the stop sign and they back right into me. I could not back up to give them space because there were two cars behind. My car's license plate now has dents in it. Thankfully there was very minimal damage and no injuries. However, they did not step out to talk to me and discuss what had happened. There was a man in the passenger seat and someone in the driver seat who had a man bun. I could not tell if it was a lady or man because the driver had a mask on. I followed them and flashed my head lights at them, honked at them to pull over, and signaled with my hand to pull over. However, they did not do it. The fact that they are a driving school they should know better. Since they decided to run away I decided to call 911 and report this incident to them. Officer Shanon talked to me and was really helpful. I am thinking if I should or should not write a letter to DMV to report that this driving school's car was involved in hit and run. It would have really pleasant if they pulled over and just talked. There is minimal damage and no injuries.

Every sensible person knows that if your driver and passenger wanted to report it. They wouldn’t have done hit and run. They would have stepped out like I did and talk to me.

Booked 3 lessons with this business for driving learning; my instructor came to my site in time . first he taught me basic driving controls and then took me to neighborhood and very patiently teach me primary driver skills. After three classes I was able to practice driving at home and finally got my license. I must recommend this school to my friends and kins. thanks mission driving school.

My name is Gill. Few months back , I migrated to USA and observed that it is hard to go with routine life without Driver License.After calling a few school about rates and services, they provide, I chose mission driving school due to very positive answers to my questions by customer service specialist, simmu, about getting my driver license soon and that too at affordable price.Bell was the name of Instructor who came to teach my first driving lesson. He was very cool and professional and as he said have 10 years of teaching experience.I was trained in a two steering wheel car for 6 hours divided into three lessons of 2 hours each and Bell advised me to go for DMV test as I already had driving experience in my county.so he booked my DMV test and what to say more passed it and got my license.
My best thanks to mission driving school staff , specially Mr Bell, who taught me so well that I was able to get my license in no time

the only reason why I used the services of this school is because they allowed me to use their car for the behind-the-wheel test. The instructors had a heavy Indian accent and was sometimes hard to understand them. The reason I give them 2 stars is because I came 30 minutes late for a training session and at the end the instructor asked me to pay him $20 just for his pocket for my tardiness. Of course I DIDNT pay because I paid a hefty amount for his time already, and the session wasn't extended for the 30 minutes I missed. Thankfully I got my license and don't have to deal with these people again.

bad bad experience! DO NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 call tis place for driving lessons! my instructor was talking on the phone and texting! instead of showing me how to drive! SERIOUSLY bad bad driving school.

I failed the first DMV behind the wheel test after 3 lessons with an instructor named Devi. She was rude, not good at explaining most things, and seemed to not really care for her job. I don’t know about all instructors working in this Driving School. However, I can guarantee you the person teaching in Palo Alto, Redwood City Mountain View area is really unprofessional. Booked 3 lessons with this business for driving learning; my instructor came to my site in time . first he taught me basic driving controls and then took me to neighborhood and very patiently teach me primary driver skills.
