4 hours late the first appointment, second appointment no showed. Said he changed appt books so forgot about lesson. Moved it to 2 days later. My daughter says he just told stories the last 1/2 hour...
4 hours late the first appointment, second appointment no showed. Said he changed appt books so forgot about lesson. Moved it to 2 days later. My daughter says he just told stories the last 1/2 hour of "lesson". Nothing changed at all in her driving. Bad business practices.. don't use

Complete disappointment. I show up a few minutes early at his office and wait outside the door for him to arrive for our scheduled appointment - he calls me and says that he is downstairs and to meet him there. I find this a bit strange but I go downstairs anyway. I try to call him back to let him know that I’m waiting downstairs and no answer, I wait for over 20 minutes and call him back every 5 minutes or so. Still no answer. This guy came recommended to me and I feel let down. I should have read the google and yelp reviews about this guys flaky history of not showing up at his own business and serving customers.

John was an incredible teacher ! very patient and told me great stories ! driving for me has been something that caused so much anxiety and fear ! but today after my 10 hr course with John i passed my drivers test!!! I highly recommend anyone who needs to take drivers lessons to take them with EZ driving school! Thank you John xx, STAR

I've read some pretty tough reviews here for John. However, my experience, having gone through his driving lessons with 2 of my teenagers has been nothing but positive. He was referred to me by a friend, who also had her 2 teenagers get driving lessons from him. He was always quick to return my calls, was very accommodating with appointments & always punctual. My daughter received her lessons from him about 3 years ago & my son just had his third & last driving lesson with him this past week. He offered to pick up my kids right after school (Millikan High School in Long Beach) to start the driving lesson if needed. He even scheduled a driving lesson on a Sunday morning. Both my kids said they felt comfortable with him. He's very straight forward, to the point & here to get the job done and he has done it very well. If he's doing this in a few more years, I'll reach out to to him for my next kid's driving lessons. I wouldn't go to anyone else at this point. It's tough knowing your kid is in the car with a stranger for 2 hours. John is someone I know I can trust.

Spoke to an instructor to schedule a drivers training session for my daughter. We scheduled the session for Monday (Labor Day) at 8am. My daughter got up early to make sure she was ready on time. I ca...
Spoke to an instructor to schedule a drivers training session for my daughter. We scheduled the session for Monday (Labor Day) at 8am. My daughter got up early to make sure she was ready on time. I called the instructor at 8:10am to ask what time he was going to show up. He told me that we were not scheduled till Saturday and Sunday. I tried to refresh his memory regarding the conversation we had but he didn't really care for it. He stated that he couldn't do anything about it. I hung up on him. I know I probably shouldn't of done that but his tone of voice and no apology was just getting me angry.

It was the best driving school ever. I went to 3 different instructors and no one got me to pass besides this instructor. He is the best. His 5 day teaching program is reasonably priced and works. Trust me. I have my license and can't wait to drive to school and other places. I am definitely a satisfied customer.

If I could give zero stars I would. I gave my son $400 for driving lessons with EZ Driving. That was to include 10 hours of driving (5 days; 2 hours each day). The instructor showed up two days. My son called and left numerous messages. No return calls. Horrible. Be careful. DON'T PAY UPFRONT.

4 hours late the first appointment, second appointment no showed. Said he changed appt books so forgot about lesson. Moved it to 2 days later. My daughter says he just told stories the last 1/2 hour of "lesson". Nothing changed at all in her driving. Bad business practices.. don't use

Complete disappointment. I show up a few minutes early at his office and wait outside the door for him to arrive for our scheduled appointment - he calls me and says that he is downstairs and to meet him there. I find this a bit strange but I go downstairs anyway. I try to call him back to let him know that I’m waiting downstairs and no answer, I wait for over 20 minutes and call him back every 5 minutes or so. Still no answer. John was an incredible teacher ! very patient and told me great stories ! driving for me has been something that caused so much anxiety and fear ! but today after my 10 hr course with John i passed my drivers test!!! I've read some pretty tough reviews here for John. However, my experience, having gone through his driving lessons with 2 of my teenagers has been nothing but positive. He was referred to me by a friend, who also had her 2 teenagers get driving lessons from him. He was always quick to return my calls, was very accommodating with appointments & always punctual. My daughter received her lessons from him about 3 years ago & my son just had his third & last driving lesson with him this past week. He offered to pick up my kids right after school (Millikan High School in Long Beach) to start the driving lesson if needed. He even scheduled a driving lesson on a Sunday morning. Both my kids said they felt comfortable with him. He's very straight forward, to the point & here to get the job done and he has done it very well. If he's doing this in a few more years, I'll reach out to to him for my next kid's driving lessons. I wouldn't go to anyone else at this point. It's tough knowing your kid is in the car with a stranger for 2 hours. John is someone I know I can trust.

It was the best driving school ever. I went to 3 different instructors and no one got me to pass besides this instructor. He is the best. His 5 day teaching program is reasonably priced and works. Trust me. I have my license and can't wait to drive to school and other places. I am definitely a satisfied customer.
