In short: Make sure you get someone who isn’t miserable about their life
First session, absolutely went great with instructor Kimberly, was my first time behind the wheels- I initially started being very nervous but then I was more comfortable, ended great- she even said I did great for someone whose never driven before
Second session, even better than the first with instructor Bob, great personality was always talkative and had a good sense of humor, definitely made me improve from the first time, said I should just be driving more & that I’d be great
Third session, quite possibly the worst 2 hours I’ve ever spent with someone who’s a teaching instructor, (DO NOT GET INSTRUCTOR LYDIA) maybe the first half hour was just going in turns in an empty neighborhood, even then with the slightest mistake I’d make she’d be asking why I wasn’t doing exactly as she said in the most passive aggressive tone, felt like I was in an exam rather than in a LEARNING environment (I’ve only driven twice for God’s sake, what do you expect lady?), that wouldn’t even be the worst part, I could be perfectly following the speed limit (my eyes were on the speedometer almost always as well as checking the road) and she’d mark me for doing it wrong, I stopped PERFECTLY at stop signs able to see both sides of the road (still empty by the way) and she’d be saying I didn’t check, I’m sorry you’re so short that you can’t see from your own window?? She wouldn’t one bit be telling me to for example check my windows, check when I’m turning, etc. pretty sure there isn’t a single rule that says I need to he absolutely fluent and driving like a professional especially not in the third lesson of all things, both of my previous instructors would warn me if I didn’t check or kindly remind me, which actually made me BETTER rather than going against me all passive aggressive & acting like it’s a competition to constantly insult someone who’s a learner. Still more, instructor Bob told me the DMV doesn’t care however you adjust your steering wheel you can have your hands however you feel comfortable, this woman spent nearly all of our time just constantly berating me for having my hands on the wrong positions of the steering wheel, kept saying I was turning my hands wrong even when I was doing it as normally as can be, instructor Bob from yesterday just showed me how to do it correctly and then said if it’s more comfortable and easier to do it my way to just go with that, which actually WAS easier than trying to get adjusted to something I was not used to. You’re supposed to be an instructor, not make me feel as if I’m constantly being ragebaited, this isn’t even the worst part of the experience for god’s sake we were doing a turn, before stepping into the road I checked both sides twice, went slowly onto the road to not be endangered, this woman detaches the passenger mirror blocks my field of view, for the right side as I’m literally trying to see, and then blames me for a car ongoing to us and honking, grabs the steering wheel and tells me to go faster, excuse me? Are you mentally slow? She did a mock test and half of the fails were because of speed, sorry I don’t wanna speed up and actually go being careful, when we’re going through the most narrow, smallest, and unpredictable roads? What is your problem? Genuinely ruined my mood, ruined my day, I was looking forward to this session and I’m genuinely regretting ever scheduling this appointment, horrible experience.
Extras: In both experiences before this third one, after we picked up the next student I’d immediately be escorted home within at least 10-15 minutes, it’s been 40 and I’m still in the car? Instead of instructing the student to actually take me home, like the previous two have done, she picked up McDonald’s? So on top of all that I lost over half an hour of time for basically no reason

They tell you that they charge you to cancel, but that’s all they have done. Not to mention time spent outside waiting no one to show up , calling and no answer until hours after. Putting us on the back burner since we had “time”, now at the last hour cancelling for unforeseen circumstances only to push us after his 6 mos which now requires DMV payment AGAIN AND JUST DRAGGING this out! Absolutely ridiculous . Business is to small and does have the capacity to assist all the new drivers they take on. BEWARE!

My daughter was given a gift from a relative paying for a 2 hr driving evaluation course. My daughter realized this course was designed for someone who had been practicing driving significantly. Since my daughter did not have adequate experience she realized what she really needed was driving lessons. When we asked for a refund, our request was dodged. We were offered a year to use the class, or another person could use the class, but what we wanted was a refund. We had to get several family members involved in an attempt to obtain a refund, and it was clear, they did not want to honor our request. We finally had to open a dispute with the credit card company, who in turn refunded our money. It was a bad experience and I believe the company didn’t use integrity.

My daughter registered in December to take the 6 hours driving class and we paid immediately. I got several calls from Gloria harassing me to ask if we paid. Luckily I had the receipt with me and it was then she said we found it. On the very first date of our class they cancelled without giving us 24 hours notice and they are giving us an appointment next month. I called to see if they could give an earlier one. Gloria was very rude , no customer service. I have asked to talk to the owner. I suggest if you are looking for a driving school, Don't use them. I just saw other people review, obviously they now have a bad reputation. The Owner needs to read People's response.

This African American instructor is beyond rude! She had the student driver stop in a no parking zone on a very busy street during rush hour. And this was right in front of my house. I went out there to let them know how unsafe it is to be sitting in a lane of fast moving traffic..she rolled down her window and wanted to argue with me..very unprofessional! Not someone I would want working for my business or instructing my loved ones on how to drive when she doesn't even know how to be a human being!

The customer care and service leaves a lot to be desired. It took nearly 6 months to get 6 hours of instruction done and my son’s last appointment was canceled & rescheduled 3 times. There’s very little feedback shared with the parents, as well. I would definitely recommend not using this driving school.

Not the best quality driving school. Scheduling for behind the wheel often times can be overbooked. I understand that it's a driving school and the behind the wheel instructors can get aggressive which is fine but criticizing students should not be tolerated. Another thing is they once had to cut my driving appointment by an hour just because one of the instructors were delayed. I had to make up the one last hour which is a hassle. I'm just going to assume it's one tiny mistake they made on me and nobody else.

I wish that I had read the Yelp reviews before paying for the 3 behind the wheel instruction classes in advance. Beware! What they don't tell you when you pay the non refundable fee is that it takes ...
I wish that I had read the Yelp reviews before paying for the 3 behind the wheel instruction classes in advance. Beware! What they don't tell you when you pay the non refundable fee is that it takes 5 months to get the 3 sessions scheduled because they are way too booked up or the instructors cancel on you. Also, no one answers the phone. Messages are returned no less than a week later. This company may have good intentions but if you want to get your classes completed in a reasonable amount of time or want good customer service DON'T GO TO GUARDIAN ANGEL‼

After paying for just a 2-hr behind the wheel driver's training for my kid, it took almost 7 weeks to get it done. First appointment was cancelled by them & rescheduled later ....to night time! Driving lesson at night??? It is just so rediculous. I declined & asked for a daytime appointment. I also had to remind them that my kid would soon be going to school by fall which was barely a month away, leaving us lesser available time. The school's Sunday business hours in the afternoon would have been more convenient for us but I just wondered why they could not come up with a Sunday appoinment. I left my kid to make the arrangement with them by himself ...and he finally made it 46 days later from date of sign up.
Obviously, their priority is just money, not good service. They taking note that I am "not very polite" on the phone, it is because they deserve it. This is the kind of business to be avoided. The very low rating they get here is no surprise at all.

Miss Lovey did a great job training my daughter to drive. On the last lesson, she even went through a mock driving test. She passed her DMV test 4 days later on her first try, missing just 1 point. ...
Miss Lovey did a great job training my daughter to drive. On the last lesson, she even went through a mock driving test. She passed her DMV test 4 days later on her first try, missing just 1 point. Thank you, Miss Lovey!Although there were some initial confusion and miscommunications about scheduling, Gloria and Torrey did a great job to accommodate us so my daughter was able to complete the training very close to 6 months after receiving her permit. All in all, I recommend Guardian Angel & particularly Miss Lovey, for behind the wheel training!

I thought it would be with an instructor, not just a review book & test. Driving behind the wheel was so hard to get a proper schedule. Very unhappy with driving school. I heard about a place in Yucaipa that really good & AAA has one also,

And told me I should have better planning and asked if I procrastinate in other areas of my life. First session, absolutely went great with instructor Kimberly, was my first time behind the wheels- I initially started being very nervous but then I was more comfortable, ended great- she even said I did great for someone whose never driven before

They tell you that they charge you to cancel, but that’s all they have done. Not to mention time spent outside waiting no one to show up , calling and no answer until hours after. Putting us on the back burner since we had “time”, now at the last hour cancelling for unforeseen circumstances only to push us after his 6 mos which now requires DMV payment AGAIN AND JUST DRAGGING this out! My daughter was given a gift from a relative paying for a 2 hr driving evaluation course. My daughter realized this course was designed for someone who had been practicing driving significantly. Since my daughter did not have adequate experience she realized what she really needed was driving lessons. When we asked for a refund, our request was dodged. We were offered a year to use the class, or another person could use the class, but what we wanted was a refund. We had to get several family members involved in an attempt to obtain a refund, and it was clear, they did not want to honor our request. We finally had to open a dispute with the credit card company, who in turn refunded our money. It was a bad experience and I believe the company didn’t use integrity.

Luckily I had the receipt with me and it was then she said we found it. The customer care and service leaves a lot to be desired. It took nearly 6 months to get 6 hours of instruction done and my son’s last appointment was canceled & rescheduled 3 times. There’s very little feedback shared with the parents, as well. I would definitely recommend not using this driving school.

Not the best quality driving school. Scheduling for behind the wheel often times can be overbooked. I understand that it's a driving school and the behind the wheel instructors can get aggressive which is fine but criticizing students should not be tolerated. Thank you, Miss Lovey!Although there were some initial confusion and miscommunications about scheduling, Gloria and Torrey did a great job to accommodate us so my daughter was able to complete the training very close to 6 months after receiving her permit. All in all, I recommend Guardian Angel & particularly Miss Lovey, for behind the wheel training!

I thought it would be with an instructor, not just a review book & test. Driving behind the wheel was so hard to get a proper schedule. Very unhappy with driving school. I called them for a drive time for a second lesson, they then told me end of May can be possible but they will put me on a call back list. It's 4/27/16 and she asked why I waited so long, and persiste...
I called them for a drive time for a second lesson, they then told me end of May can be possible but they will put me on a call back list. It's 4/27/16 and she asked why I waited so long, and persisted to call me dump for taking to long to schedule the next lesson. And told me I should have better planning and asked if I procrastinate in other areas of my life. I don't know about you, but I don't believe you should call your customers out, and use obscene words and name calling...

I regret going to this business to teach my son how to drive. The owner is extremely rude. He even called my wife names and refused to provide reasonable appointment for my son. I will continue to spread the truth about this business and definitely would not recommend to any of my family and friends.
