i really enjoyed empire driving school! not only did Genny give me many many great lessons on being a better driver but she helped me be a way more confident driver. definitely would recommend for anyone learning how to drive and wants to easily pass their driving test. she not only was a good teacher but was just a nice friend to talk to about anything. definitely schedule an appointment!! One of the worst experiences I've had with any services I have purchased in the past. They speak in a condescending manner to the student driver, with many disparaging comments. Furthermore they inflate their statistics one woman says all of their students pass yet another employee says that students have been failing at certain DMVS. They do not explain to you that there will be no refunds on service not rendered until well after you ask for one, they do not list a refund policy or explain it over the phone. My daughter just finished behind-the-wheel training and we are very happy with the experience.   The student car used for the sessions is clean and in good condition.  Genny is a professional and caring instructor, perfect for my daughter who is a little timid on the road.  This woman-owned family business run by the mother-daughters team was a great find. I have 3 kids.. our first one used a highly recommended, well-known, well-established competitor in the area. When it came time for the others to learn to drive, we did not go back..We found Empire instead. They have been great. Really impressed with the level of attention and detail. Pleasant to work with, both on the phone and in the car. The kids have commented on this as well, given that they know what their older sibling went through having had to listen to a chatterbox instructor - just one of several problems with the other company.I have no idea how they compare price-wise - they might be more or less expensive than whatever else you find. They did offer to us what I, as a parent, considered an outstanding opportunity: they gave my kids a couple of hours of a CHP class with an officer. It was a class the CHP offers for young drivers. It was well worth it. They were also extremely accomodating when it came to our busy schedules. And, unlike the other reviewer here, I've had excellent results with them returning my calls.Overall, I'd say they do a great job! Read Less
