Excellent driving instructor; couldn’t recommend highly enough. Gordon is thorough and meticulous, and carefully drills all the driving weak points until they are mastered. In addition, he has extensive knowledge of the DMV test routes and will prepare you so there are zero surprises on the actual test. Prices are reasonable and he’s generally pretty available.
If you want your hand held and to just be told everything will be fine, feel free to go to some other driving school. But if you actually want to pass the test on your first try and become a competent driver as fast as possible you should call City Driving School.

I just passed my driving test today. I will give all credit to Mr Wong my driver instructor he was very nice, the way he teaches is so amazing and very easy to understand he will make sure that you have the right confidence before the test. Very Professional!!!
P.s: Don’t choose other instructors only because they are cheap I wasted some money only because I thought they are cheap but deep inside I was never satisfied and when I contacted Mr Wong from City school his rates were reasonable and I took only 4 classes and passed in my first attempt.

I passed my driving test in San Francisco on the 1st trial and got "Very Good Drive" marked on my score sheet by DMV Examiner. The examiner said that Gorden is the best teacher in town; most of his students can pass their test. I completely agree. I learned many things from this guy, he taught me from how to hold and turn the steering wheel through pass my drive test, such as how to start my car on a hill without fall back, when should I have to use "L" and "2" gear manually, how to use the mirrors to judge the distance while making lane change, many rules even though my parents who have many years of driving experience didn't know, U-turn, 2 point turn, 3 point turn, parallel parking, angle parking, freeway driving and more. He was focussing how to drivesafely in my future, not just to pass my test.

Excellent driving instructor; couldn’t recommend highly enough. Gordon is thorough and meticulous, and carefully drills all the driving weak points until they are mastered. In addition, he has extensive knowledge of the DMV test routes and will prepare you so there are zero surprises on the actual test. Prices are reasonable and he’s generally pretty available.
