I brought my car into California from out of state with expired tags (2 years expired!). The car had been sitting in another state and was recently trailered into Santa Ynez. I was dreading the high fines and bureaucracy of the DMV. I tried for days to call the DMV, but to no avail. They never answer the phone and their online chat was largely unhelpful. I contacted Drive Tech, and they told me what documents to bring. They did my VIN verification, Goldenrod registration, and provided me with new plates and tags - all in less than an hour! I am so glad that I found them. I can now drive my car with peace of mind. Highly recommended! Melanie is great! I was so nervous when I started my lessons with her. She assured me it was normal and she was here to help. We started off by driving around my neighborhood where I was familiar with the streets and stop signs. She was always giving me tips and ideas on how to be a safe driver. She gives great lesson plans. She pointed out my errors and helped me correct them. We did a mock drive test at the dmv where she graded me and scored me as if it was a real test.
