I passed my behind the wheel test thanks to my instructor Josh! He is super cool and so patient. He definitely helped me build my confidence but overall made sure I was comfortable throughout each session. The only issue was there was some rescheduling with my instructor but I learned a lot of useful tips and techniques. Overall, both my instructor and Dollar Driving School were excellent! I would recommend

Starting from no experience like a month ago, I just passed my behind-the-wheel today, first try with barely any mistakes, and I wouldn’t have done it without Josh’s help! He’s very kind and from the beginning I was comfortable with him, as he gave me great tips and helped to correct me as needed. Got a sense of humor and very patient with me.
He even stayed connected with me even after I finished all lessons in case I needed extra help/had questions. Had a great experience with this school and would 10/10 recommend.

Josh was very helpful, understanding, calm and patient and easy to drive with. Scheduling was easy and convenient and he always arrived early. He gave my son the confidence to pass and he did with minimal errors. This is my second time using Dollar Driving School and definitely recommend.

Josh Beers was an awesome driving instructor. I was pretty nervous at first, but he made me feel comfortable right away and was always helpful after messing up. He explains things in a really simple way, and he’s super patient, which helped a lot.
He really paid attention to what I actually needed to work on instead of just going through the motions. By the end, I felt way more confident driving than I expected. Definitely recommend him if you’re learning.

Josh was a great driving instructor for my daughter. He was calm, and walked her through every part of the driving test. Took her though the potential routes for the test, and my daughter felt very safe. He connected with us after each lesson and gave us positive feedback as well as constructive criticism to make sure she was prepared. Highly recommend!

Paul is an amazing instructor! Super friendly and trustworthy. They cover A LOT of training in such a short amount of time but it's thorough and designed in a way that ensures the student can pass the official behind the wheel exam when the time comes. Totally recommend. Ask for Paul! (And wait for him to be available!)

Don't enroll on this driving school. The instructor namely Robert was not patient enough to teach me. He's raising his voice too. I suggests he needs to go an anger management class.

Don't ask for Robert. I'll just say that. He doesn't have the patience to teach new drivers. He is awful. He should never be able to teach. Can't believe my grandma paid almost $300 for him.I'll specify though. The first 2 days he was alright, seemed okay. I thought he was pretty cool. The 3rd day, I don't know if he was just stressed out, or what? I guess he had said to take a right but I heard take a left? We had turned left onto the same street a few times so I think I was just auto piloting. But then he flipped out, jerked my hand off the wheel with no warning and then just merged over 2 lanes himself without looking at the cars behind us (who stopped for us thank god), then proceeded to tell me how that would've been an automatic fail on my test and that I shouldn't have done that and that I wouldn't have passed and yada yada. I get it, I should've turned right, but I made a minor mistake. He should've let me make the safe left then make a u turn at the nearest light possible. Not dangerously merge so quickly like that in front of moving traffic and jerking my hand so hard off the wheel, not to mention making someone feel so bad over a non threatening small misunderstanding. Then we had a yellow light downtown and there was a car turning left onto the same street as me. They ended up going at the same time so I braked so they could go because that seems risky for both of us to go at the same time onto the same road so quickly, didn't want to risk an accident. He then told me I should've gone and how the pedestrian was super mad and it was all my fault and I should've just gone. It wasn't even safe to go though. But made me feel bad anyway. My brother also had him and he said that he didn't have a great experience either. Idk. I just didn't feel safe on that last day.

This school is TERRIBLE. The trainer rescheduled several times and was not a good instructor. The owner is EXTREMELY rude. They ran out of the official forms that need to be given to the DMV so my son was unable to take his test prior to his permit expiring. PLEASE take my advice, spend a few extra bucks and go to a REAL driving school.

I passed my behind the wheel test thanks to my instructor Josh! He is super cool and so patient. He definitely helped me build my confidence but overall made sure I was comfortable throughout each session. The only issue was there was some rescheduling with my instructor but I learned a lot of useful tips and techniques. Overall, both my instructor and Dollar Driving School were excellent! I would recommend

He’s very kind and from the beginning I was comfortable with him, as he gave me great tips and helped to correct me as needed. Got a sense of humor and very patient with me.

Josh was very helpful, understanding, calm and patient and easy to drive with. Scheduling was easy and convenient and he always arrived early. He gave my son the confidence to pass and he did with minimal errors. This is my second time using Dollar Driving School and definitely recommend.

Josh Beers was an awesome driving instructor. I was pretty nervous at first, but he made me feel comfortable right away and was always helpful after messing up. He explains things in a really simple way, and he’s super patient, which helped a lot.

This school is TERRIBLE. The trainer rescheduled several times and was not a good instructor. The owner is EXTREMELY rude. They ran out of the official forms that need to be given to the DMV so my son was unable to take his test prior to his permit expiring. PLEASE take my advice, spend a few extra bucks and go to a REAL driving school.
