I don't even know where to begin. I'm a 36-year-old first-time driver with severe anxiety who relocated from Brooklyn to Denver. Before finding Coastline, I spent over $1,000 on lessons with a school in New York that never gave me a clear timeline or genuine support. When I arrived in Denver, I tried another local instructor who also left me without guidance at my most vulnerable moment. Then I had a traumatic experience at a testing site where an examiner publicly humiliated me, called me rude in front of a waiting room full of people, and told me Why don't you NOT come back' after triggering my anxiety attack. I was devastated. Coastline was my last hope — and they didn't just meet the bar, they shattered it. Tim was my instructor for my first two lessons. He took me on the actual test route in Arvada, drove me through downtown Denver AND up Lookout Mountain on day one, and told me, 'If today were test day, you would have passed.' That meant everything. Nancy taught my final two lessons and went above and beyond in every way. She arranged an extra hour of driving immediately before my road test because she genuinely wanted me to pass. She coordinated with my examiner, Jim, in advance and shared exactly what he'd be looking for. Jim was the first examiner who ever treated me like a human being. He passed me despite my nerves because he could see I knew how to drive. He said, 'I could tell you were nervous' — and passed me. Francis responded to my initial inquiry with such warmth and humanity that I knew immediately this was the right school. I passed my Colorado road test today. After everything I went through — Coastline made what felt completely impossible a reality. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a driving lesson with Roy and couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. He was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. He explained everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and created a calm learning environment that made driving feel much less intimidating. What stood out most was how encouraging and supportive he was throughout the lesson. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping his students succeed and become safe, confident drivers.
