Chris Dickson was an amazing rider coach, I was blessed to have Mike a 2nd coach in training shadowing the class learning to become a better coach. Strong attention to detail on form & safety for keeping riders alive on the road. I went in with no knowledge & not being comfortable but left ready for the road on a bike. Most of the course is drills on the motorcycle, running circuits. The amount of one to one training with how many students there are was impressive. I was very thankful to get the instructions I did & would recommend to anyone planning on getting a motorcycle.

I showed up nervous, left with skills, and even survived my son heckling me all weekend thanks to Chris and Mike. The ABATE beginner motorcycle course at the bus barn in Aurora was a fantastic experience from start to finish.
Chris was patient, clear, and encouraging, but also kept things fun. My son spent half the class giving me a hard time, and Chris handled it perfectly—lighthearted but still keeping him on task. He also took extra time with anyone who struggled, making sure nobody was left behind.
Mike’s passion for motorcycles was contagious and brought great energy to the group. Together they created an atmosphere where you felt they were rooting for everyone to succeed while still holding us to the standards we needed to pass. Not only did we learn a lot, we had a blast. Highly recommend

Jewlz was an excellent instructor for the basic rider course. As someone who had a single afternoon of experience on a dirt bike years ago, I got a whole lot out of this course. A few bad habits were ...
Jewlz was an excellent instructor for the basic rider course. As someone who had a single afternoon of experience on a dirt bike years ago, I got a whole lot out of this course. A few bad habits were broken, and a whole swath of good habits created. Highly recommend getting some formal training especially if you are lucky enough to have Jewlz as an instructor.

I have been riding on the street without an endorsement for almost twenty years, and I thought I would take this course just to add the Motorcycle endorsement to my license. I was delighted to find out that there is still a lot for me to learn about riding. Our instructor, Brent, made the curriculum engaging, and almost everything is taught with a "tell you, show you, then let your try" approach. I would recommend this course for anyone who wants to start riding, or just wants to find ways to get more enjoyment from riding.

Chris Dickson was an amazing rider coach, I was blessed to have Mike a 2nd coach in training shadowing the class learning to become a better coach. Strong attention to detail on form & safety for keeping riders alive on the road. I went in with no knowledge & not being comfortable but left ready for the road on a bike. I showed up nervous, left with skills, and even survived my son heckling me all weekend thanks to Chris and Mike. The ABATE beginner motorcycle course at the bus barn in Aurora was a fantastic experience from start to finish.

Jewlz was an excellent instructor for the basic rider course. As someone who had a single afternoon of experience on a dirt bike years ago, I got a whole lot out of this course.
