I came to Western Slope Driving Institute's Denver Central location for my road test today. I have a diagnosed anxiety disorder for which I take prescription medication. When the tester Brittany determined I was too nervous to proceed, instead of handling the situation with any professionalism or compassion, what followed was completely unacceptable.
After I stepped away — clearly distressed, having just spent $95 I could not afford — I went back inside to ask a simple question. Brittany inserted herself into a conversation I was not having with her, then called me RUDE in front of a waiting room full of people. When I responded that she had given me an anxiety attack, she told me "why don't you NOT come back."
Her comment was clearly designed to provoke a reaction from me — and when I responded, it allowed her to paint me as the "angry Black woman." She created that moment. I didn't.
I am a Black woman. She is a white woman. I was visibly upset and vulnerable. She chose to publicly humiliate me anyway.
I have severe anxiety. I just funded a solo cross-country move. I have a family member in the ICU. I have spent close to $2,000 trying to get my license. And this woman felt entitled to publicly shame me on one of the hardest days I've had in months.
Brittany is not the owner. She does not get to tell customers not to come back. Her behavior was cruel, unprofessional, and discriminatory in tone and delivery. I will be filing a formal complaint with the business owner and the Colorado Civil Rights Division.

Awesome! Had me in and out in less than 30 minutes. Staff was very welcoming and polite. Definitely bringing my little sister to take her permit test, and later drivers test here.

I am writing to commend Salma for her exceptional service. I first spoke with her over the phone, and she was incredibly helpful when my mom arrived in person for her permit test. My mother only speaks Spanish and it’s hard to find a place where they treat her correctly due to her language barrier. She went above and beyond by offering water and snacks for my child, which made the experience much easier. Salma explained everything in a thorough and professional manner. I highly recommend this establishment due to her friendly and high-quality service.

Maybe cuz they think there are not any other options to take tests : written or driving...
Feel comfortable bc everyone speaks there native language.

DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE. The instructor was extremely rude, he didn't even CARE about introducing himself and giving me his name.

DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE. The instructor was extremely rude, he didn't even CARE about introducing himself and giving me his name.
I thought I did the test perfectly, and when we got back he said I didn't pass because of some LIES that he COMPLETELY MADE UP!! He said that I didn't look to my mirrors, when OF COURSE I DID, I mean I always use the mirrors and even MORE IN A DRIVING TEST!! I even looked over my shoulder... Then he also would wait to the last minute to give me directions!!! And it was also hard to understand his directions because his english wasn't even good. At certain point he literally said "turn here" and I turned and then he said he was talking about the next street... then why did he say "here"? These are NOT things that concern the law, this is just an ass trying to make money. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!

This place not only has horrible customer service it is a straight up scam. They're driving testers attitude was rude and suspicious from the get go. He waited to the last minute to give instructions and when I asked a question about if I should keep going straight, his answer was dismissive and condescending. After the test he alerted me that I had failed due to the most minuscule mistakes I've ever heard and he even said that he saw my eyes through my sunglasses and I wasn't looking in the rearview mirror which is a lie. He also claimed I want 25 in a school zone when my speedometer hit 22 for a second . When we got back he was only too happy to tell me that I could retest tomorrow at the five dollar discounted rate of 45$. He did the same thing to the two people before me and I'm thinking that they do that to everyone so that everybody has to take the test twice. I have never written a bad review before nor do I normally write reviews at all but my experience here was so horrible that I felt the need to let people know about this potential scam at worst, and just god awful business at best.

I had a road test and they claimed I failed and in two days I had another road test at dmv office in Aurora and I got my license. western slope on Mississippi wanted me to come back for the test and pay 45.00 after I had paid 60.00 and they failed me. don't ever go close to this office unless you pick money from dustbin.

DO NOT SEND YOU KID TO THIS DRIVE SCHOOL!!! My son attended the Littleton driving location. The classroom is fine, but the behind the wheel instructors are a bunch of ex-police bullies. My son was in tears after the first lesson. When I requested a different instructor than Joe for his 2nd drive time, we were told that would not be a problem, but when we showed up it was Joe again. It was a repeat of the first lesson and my son came home a wreck! If we hadn't pre-paid, we would have gone somewhere else. The third lesson was a different teacher who was just as bad. He slapped my son's hands while he was driving on C-470!!! We had planned for him to take the test with them, but we went to the DMV instead. Two of the things both teachers said he needed to correct, were incorrect according to the DMV. Those teachers made my son feel like he was a bad driver, but he passed his test on his first try at the DMV. They don't even act like they like teenagers! They should definitely not be teaching them!

I came to Western Slope Driving Institute's Denver Central location for my road test today. I have a diagnosed anxiety disorder for which I take prescription medication. When the tester Brittany determined I was too nervous to proceed, instead of handling the situation with any professionalism or compassion, what followed was completely unacceptable.

This place not only has horrible customer service it is a straight up scam. They're driving testers attitude was rude and suspicious from the get go. He waited to the last minute to give instructions and when I asked a question about if I should keep going straight, his answer was dismissive and condescending. DO NOT SEND YOU KID TO THIS DRIVE SCHOOL!!! My son attended the Littleton driving location. The classroom is fine, but the behind the wheel instructors are a bunch of ex-police bullies. My son was in tears after the first lesson. When I requested a different instructor than Joe for his 2nd drive time, we were told that would not be a problem, but when we showed up it was Joe again.
