EXCELLENT! Affordable is a no frills, well-oiled machine. I appreciate the woman-owned factor, although Michele's husband Terry plays a major role teaching the classroom portion which is worth its' weight in gold with his background in engineering and 'colorful' driving experience. In the classroom and on the course, with patience you will get out of it what you put into it and many students appreciate the flexible schedule, reasonable cost and payment plan. The manual transmission trucks you will learn to drive are tired, rough and unforgiving, steering off center, challenging trailer lengths, rigid brakes, clutching and shifting but make no mistake, all of this is very much so by design, intentional, to create, to mold the student into a superior commercial truck driver. The school offers unlimited use of a state of the art simulator as well for which no expense was spared and helps students exponentially with shifting and double-clutching. This is real world trucking education and I could not have chosen better veteran instructors to learn from. Want to say thank you to Michelle Terry George and the instructors Brandon and Wayne for getting me ready to get my CDL and I passed with flying colors first time around. Very laid back school. If you work with them they will definitely work with you. A lot of one on one time. I signed up for night classes only but they even encouraged me to come on the weekend also, which was great and got way more time than I paid for. Trucks are old but after all the abuse they get from inexperienced students they get the job done. Affordable CDL in my experience so far has been great. All of the instructors have been nothing but nice and patient. They do a great job preparing you for the test. If you listen and pay attention then you will pick things up quickly. Wayne and Brenden are both outstanding instructors, and very easy to talk to and get along with, they also share their experience and stories. These people lie an awful lot and put on a great act when you first get there. You hardly spend anytime in the truck and end up paying $3,800 to borrow their truck for a test. On top of that the owner "George" and most of the workers are super shady two faced people that you'll wish you never met. They were extremely rude, unprofessional, and lie about who owns the school for a reason. The story gets worse but I'll spare you the details. Their trucks are garbage and they lie about how much time you'll get practicing. They want all the money up front which doesn't make it very "affordable". They have no respect for their students but they'll be happy to take all your money. I hope this helps. It really sucked and I lost a bunch of money.
