I would highly recommend Glastonbury Driving School. My son is Autistic and it took a lot of time and patience on the staff and instructors part to help him accomplish his goal of being a licensed driver. I’m so thankful for Karen, she showed so much kindness and patience with my son, she never treated him like he was different and that’s what he needed. Karen offered me the support I needed as well being a nervous parent throughout this journey, we couldn’t have done it without her. My son particularly loved his instructors Dan, who works with kids and was familiar with kids on the spectrum and Jamie who is retired law enforcement, she really helped him to understand the laws while showing the love and patience of a mother. Thank you Karen for pairing us with the perfect instructors for Angel and all your kindness throughout this journey of ours.

I had a wonderful experience with Glastonbury Driving School. My instructor was extremely patient, responsive, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire learning process. They were very flexible with scheduling lessons, and I really appreciated how understanding they were about payments as well. Their professionalism and support helped me build confidence behind the wheel. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive driving school.

I highly recommend Glastonbury driving school to anyone wanting to become a confident driver. I passed my practical driving test on my very first attempt thanks to their excellent training.
Each session builds logically on the skills learned previously.
Realistic practice runs completely eliminated my test-day nerves.
Booking sessions around my busy work schedule was seamless.
Training cars are clean, safe, and dual-controlled for peace of mind.
The team turns nervous learners into safe, defensive drivers.
Thank you for making my licensing journey smooth and successful!

I had a great first experience driving with Dan, very good at giving examples for parking, he had a very good method for reverse parking and showing me how to use my mirrors making it a lot easier to park. Driving on the road felt a lot better, learned the road a lot better, knowing my right of way and other people’s right of way, over all a great experience making it very clear on where I’m going and how to start and turnoff the car, making sure all passengers are safe.

Glastonbury Driving School is the best! It’s official my daughter Chloe is licensed! It’s a proud, but scary day for a parent. Thank you soo much for walking us carefully through the process and building our confidence. The zoom and driving classes were invaluable. Karen, Allen and Jamie were patient, knowledgeable, kind and fun! We are grateful for such positive experience.

They sent me an email a month in advance confirming that there would be an 8 hour classroom course today. My mom and I got up early (on a Saturday) and showed up on time. We waited for about 15 minute...
They sent me an email a month in advance confirming that there would be an 8 hour classroom course today. My mom and I got up early (on a Saturday) and showed up on time. We waited for about 15 minutes before someone even arrived, and he was there to teach a different course. The person who was supposed to be teaching the course didn't even show up! The guy who was there offered to do the first 4 hours today and the next 4 hours at the same early time on Sunday, but he wanted the whole payment up front and would only accept cash, even thought the form said 'cash or check'. We would have been fine paying half now and half tommorow, but he wouldn't budge. This suggests that the class tomorrow might not even happen and he was just trying to get our money. Overall, terrible experience. Wasted an hour of our time and about 3 hours of sleep. Find a different place!!

I would recommend Glastonbury driving school the staff is great my son learned a great deal from them never had a problem with anything very professional. I liked the fact that they made my son's experience of learning how to drive a good one.I also like that I could always call or stop by the school and talk with someone and the flexibility of the classes and the driving lessons was a big help.

I wish I could give less than one star. For starters this buisness is run worst than your neighborhood lemonade stand. When I asked for a receipt they tore a piece of white printer paper in half and signed their name. The classroom time was 30 hours of videos on vhs from the late 80s. Furthermore the the school's system for scheduling during driving tests is backwards and counterintuitive. The school schedules 8 people for one half hour time slot, when maybe 4 tests can occur in this time period. Unfortunately this place holds a pretty strong monopoly on the realm of drivers Ed.

The lady who runs this place is very rude and she offers only 2 hours classes. It's really boring to take class continuously for 2 hours. I don't recommend this place.

Beware of this place. Their eye tests are not accurate or qualified. They must not have the proper procedures or equipment as my teenager supposedly failed their eyetest and was given a Class B on his license without our knowledge. His eyes are fine, he does not wear glasses, and we had to go to the Department of Motor Vehicles and had to re-take the eyetest from a qualified business in order to remove the Class B annotation on his license. He passed the eyetest at the DMV with no problems. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you go here, ensure that you do not get a mistaken Class placed on your license by unqualified personel. Check your license now...you might be surprised.

Great service . You have done everything that you stated that you were going to do for us . From issueing the permit to a very excellent classroom program it was very structured and we could not take all the classes in one month and he never got lost that was very inportant to us. The driving skills that he learned from the instructors was very top knotch. thank you Richard for your patience. Your on site testing was awsome . I did not know that was even offered . I will highly recommend you .

Great place to send your teen if you are thinking of going anywhere. The school did everything from A to Z. Very professional , very flexible. the Drivers were very informational and gave my daughter great defensive driving tips. The experence was great. Thank you

I would highly recommend Glastonbury Driving School. My son is Autistic and it took a lot of time and patience on the staff and instructors part to help him accomplish his goal of being a licensed driver. I’m so thankful for Karen, she showed so much kindness and patience with my son, she never treated him like he was different and that’s what he needed. I had a wonderful experience with Glastonbury Driving School. My instructor was extremely patient, responsive, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire learning process. They sent me an email a month in advance confirming that there would be an 8 hour classroom course today. My mom and I got up early (on a Saturday) and showed up on time. I would recommend Glastonbury driving school the staff is great my son learned a great deal from them never had a problem with anything very professional. I liked the fact that they made my son's experience of learning how to drive a good one.I also like that I could always call or stop by the school and talk with someone and the flexibility of the classes and the driving lessons was a big help.
