I do not recommend The Next Street. We used the service 2-3 years ago and had no issues, but it is now impossible to book on-the-road lessons. The lessons online are going well, but getting an appointment for a practical lesson is ridiculous. It's 6/15/2026 and I look at the online booking system and there are zero available appointments through August 9.

I just finished my first lesson with next street my instructor Katrina was the best she explained everything perfectly I was concerned about parallel parking and I’m so excited to say I learned a wonderful trick to parallel parking I’m excited for my road test thank you next street and most of all thank you Katrina I never thought at my age I thought I would learn to parallel park in just 2 tries

I had my driving test here today, and both the instructor and the examiner—especially him—were incredibly kind and friendly. They talked to me and made me feel comfortable, so I wasn’t nervous at all. I passed my driving test!
It was my first time testing here, though it was my second attempt overall. Relax—you’ll pass too 😊

Katrina was very helpful and informative! I didn’t know about the Next Street before booking, but it has been a smooth transition into getting my license! The lessons will teach you things your parents could never. And the price is worth the convenience of skipping the DMV!

I had a wonderful time with my driving instructor Katrina S. I had her for my first two driving lessons and as a first time driver she was a great support. She was more than respectful and helpful while I was driving and learning new skills. The welcoming atmosphere that was created from the beginning was maintained throughout all 4 hours total spent with her. She cracked jokes and made sure that I felt comfortable when doing something. I would highly recommend this funny and encouraging instructor!

Informative, comprehensive, and enjoyable. Classes move quickly while giving a lot of information and review. Jane works hard to engage with her students, including answering emails on her days off.

Jane Gillis was a great instructor. She thoroughly went through all the information I needed to pass my driving test and I would highly recommend The Next Street over any other driving school in Glastonbury. Accompanied by the rest of the company, Jane aided my driving experience and helped calm my nerves. Overall great experience and would recommend to anyone.

They were horrible , my daughter had signed up with premier and then school changed to next Street , we scheduled her driving test on June 22nd in March, they called us inexpensive week before th...
They were horrible , my daughter had signed up with premier and then school changed to next Street , we scheduled her driving test on June 22nd in March, they called us inexpensive week before the test and said she cannot take test as she will turn 20 on June 21 , on great persuasion they scheduled the the test on June 21 on a different test area ,she failed because she was very nervous and now cannot take the test again at the school and has to go to DMV, and has to wait for her appt, as nothing is available .have a son who has take classes , will not use next street

My expirence was enlightening. Amanda and other driving intrustors work with students closely and mold their teaching styles to the student. The driving instructors work to not only give knowledge to the students, but become a mentor to the students and form a bond with the students.

The Next Street Driving School is a really great place to learn how to drive. They make you feel safe and prepared on the road. Amanda is a really good Instructor and ive learned alot from her.

I do not recommend The Next Street. We used the service 2-3 years ago and had no issues, but it is now impossible to book on-the-road lessons. The lessons online are going well, but getting an appointment for a practical lesson is ridiculous. It's 6/15/2026 and I look at the online booking system and there are zero available appointments through August 9.

I had a wonderful time with my driving instructor Katrina S. I had her for my first two driving lessons and as a first time driver she was a great support. She was more than respectful and helpful while I was driving and learning new skills.
