Had a 2 hour road lesson with instructor Ari Y and I can’t explain how good of an instructor he is. He breaks the parking maneuvers down in steps to where you understand perfectly and effectively. He understands how important road knowledge is and because of that I’m glad he was my instructor for today, Great guy, Great instructor!

I took driving lessons at The Next Street Driving School in Orange, CT, and it was a great experience. The program is well-structured, and the staff are very supportive. Patricia Moody (Patty) was excellent in helping me refine the basics, especially reverse parking and lane changes, while Ari Y. helped me build confidence driving on highways. Both instructors were patient, clear, and genuinely encouraging throughout.
I passed at my first attempt in CT. Thank you, Patty! You are awesome.

I had a behind the wheel session with Candice and just loved it. She is such an amazing instructor. Very professional and great in teaching the skills, very patient, positive and friendly. We practiced all the maneuvers that I was afraid of and she quickly spotted my weak zone and we worked on it. I had earlier taken classes from a private instructor and was not so happy. I am so glad I made the right choice by signing up at next street.

My best instructor Candice, she was nice, calm and very well explaining each time. It was my very first driving, when i needed the basics of basics and step by step. And I would say in full confidence, Candice is the best instructor you would ever start with if you are a beginner. She will encourage you that you are doing great and give you the instant feedback each time. I appreciated the whole time of learning.

This organization has been absolutely horrible. The classes have been a hodge podge of bad: I went to the next street in Orange and we consistently have teachers come late, say factually incorrect things, and read to us from the book like children. Plus, The Next Street swears they are flexible, which is untrue. To make up a class is a struggle as they only offer them every few weeks and usually not at your location. The administrative systems seem particularly terrible. I have been given wrong information over the phone over and over again, lied to, and one help service man called me crazy when I quoted his colleague. Their crazy antics have almost cost me my liscence, and I know I have no time for that. Learning to drive is difficult enough already, and there is no need for a school which only makes it harder. I recommend going elsewhere.

Kevin Wilson was my instructor for my last few classes he was a really great instructor and made everything understandable and used real life connections and instances so the students could see how everything really relates to actual driving situations in the real world and not just made up ones out of the books we have to learn from. He made the classses fun and didn't just read straight out of a book or make us watch videos for 4 hours like some of my previous teachers did. I'm definitely going to try to schedule my on road lessons with him. Overall my experience at the next street was great but I once had an instructor who forgot her key and made us start class late outside the building when it was like 30° and then tried to make us stay longer without telling us because she forgot her key. I would recommend the next street to friends.

Had a 2 hour road lesson with instructor Ari Y and I can’t explain how good of an instructor he is. He breaks the parking maneuvers down in steps to where you understand perfectly and effectively. I took driving lessons at The Next Street Driving School in Orange, CT, and it was a great experience. The program is well-structured, and the staff are very supportive. Patricia Moody (Patty) was excellent in helping me refine the basics, especially reverse parking and lane changes, while Ari Y. helped me build confidence driving on highways. Both instructors were patient, clear, and genuinely encouraging throughout.

I had a behind the wheel session with Candice and just loved it. She is such an amazing instructor. Very professional and great in teaching the skills, very patient, positive and friendly. We practiced all the maneuvers that I was afraid of and she quickly spotted my weak zone and we worked on it. I had earlier taken classes from a private instructor and was not so happy. I am so glad I made the right choice by signing up at next street.

My best instructor Candice, she was nice, calm and very well explaining each time. It was my very first driving, when i needed the basics of basics and step by step. And I would say in full confidence, Candice is the best instructor you would ever start with if you are a beginner. She will encourage you that you are doing great and give you the instant feedback each time. I appreciated the whole time of learning.

This organization has been absolutely horrible. The classes have been a hodge podge of bad: I went to the next street in Orange and we consistently have teachers come late, say factually incorrect things, and read to us from the book like children. Plus, The Next Street swears they are flexible, which is untrue. To make up a class is a struggle as they only offer them every few weeks and usually not at your location. Kevin Wilson was my instructor for my last few classes he was a really great instructor and made everything understandable and used real life connections and instances so the students could see how everything really relates to actual driving situations in the real world and not just made up ones out of the books we have to learn from.
