High Ridge Driving School is excellent. We had such a great experience with the program. My son learned so much from the team. All the instructors are so accommodating and nice. Michael "Mickey" Docimo our son's driving instructor was excellent. He is so nice, calm and just a great person. He made our son feel safe and taught him how to drive. He truly cares about his students and wants them to do well. Rebecca at the front desk was also such a big help throughout the process. I am so happy we chose High Ridge Driving School. High Ridge Driving School is an absolutely fantastic institution, so much so that I can honestly say I’ll have fond memories of my learning process. Everything is smooth and detailed; the staff make sure that you’re completely prepared and confident for your driving test. It’s the people here who make it so special. Rebecca at the front desk is so affable, the host Alex was great when I met him, and my two lesson instructors Michael Docimo (Mickey) and Jonathan Bufithis (Jay) were not only incredible instructors and drivers, but wonderful people in addition. They were extremely helpful towards me! I came I. With a 5 year old permit, and needed a new certificate due to a DMV issue. They dropped everything they were doing, and checked every system dated back 5 years, all so I can take my test in 2 days! Read Less

I just completed my 8 hour classroom of drug and alcohol related classroom session last Sunday. - It's a school with functional systems, rules/protocols, clean classrooms, and some good people. - They understand if you need to reschedule or if you need to make last minute adjustments. But overall I wouldn't recommend going here if you are looking for a professional and clean classroom experience. An 8 hour long class isn't fun on a Sunday. Some tutors make jokes to help manage the monotonic nature of the session. But sometimes they REALLY cross the line. It might seem abusive to some people. If you are one who cares about decency please look for a another school even if you are paying slightly higher price. The first 4 hour session good. Paul seemed like a nice person to listen to. There's a teacher - Mr. Smith. If you see your class is being scheduled with him - PLEASE look to reschedule. - He would constantly complain about his BOSS, who came up with the material for classroom (I thought it was good). - He would complain about his personal life. - He would complain about the American system. And how he is being targeted by police. - He would make racial comments against some communities. - He would teach you to break speed limits when you are driving. - He thinks honking and tailgating are good techniques. - Overall - he is a rude, abusive, wannabe funny person. And I do not care, it's his problem. Some people are probably okay with that kind of attitude. - But I wouldn't want to pay for those classrooms either if I'm getting lessons from him. This school is getting 2 stars because other people were nice and PROFESSIONAL. (to me the most important aspect I look for when I'm paying for something). Good luck.. Read Less

I've been driving for at least a decade, and the adult course was a great refresher and very informative. The course just updated their videos and the instructors help to keep the class engaged throughout the course using personal experiences. I had one small incident, and was able to get in touch with one of the owner's without hesitation who helped me fix the problem! Overall great course and staff is very helpful! Read Less

Great school! Signed up for the 8 hour course and I found out they offered the course in Spanish, Polish, Russian and Creole aside from English!  Great staff, very helpful and attentive! Took some lessons too and the instructor was great, he was patient and willing to go over and over anything I messed up. Read Less

A well operated establishment. This driving school is clean, flexible and personable. I have taken the 8-hour course here and the instructor really took an interest in the subject at hand. He asked the right questions to the class and was very interactive which made the class fly by. They also gave out informational packets to keep and study from and also offered a book to help you pass the permit test. I think highly of this driving school and recommend it to all of my friends. I have this school to thank for my clean driving record and current driver's license. I enrolled in the school when I was 16 and was never disappointed by any of the lessons. The teachers were as engaging as they could be and tried to inspire their students to learn the material. There were some classes that were stints of boredom but that's to be expected with most teenage education environments. There were also breaks in the middle of all lessons so we could use the restroom or eat a snack.The driving lessons were always informative and I experienced a wide range of driving conditions from rain to highways to windy side streets. I had two instructors (my first one quit a week into my driving lessons) and both were excellent.I also took my test at this school which was painless. I had to wait around the entire day but aced the test on my first try; High Ridge takes you on the exact course and through the same maneuvers as practice a couple days before your test if you take the road test there.
