If I could give this 0 stars I would ….This afternoon while waiting for my daughter to get dropped off from the bus I witnessed the bus driver screaming on the top of her lungs at these children. I was appalled. I get the company is short on drivers but the safety of our children are more important. You hear all these crazy stories about bus drivers acting out and to witness this today I was in total shock. When I confronted the bus driver she justified her behavior by saying the kids were swearing. Now if you have kids we all know they aren’t angels all of the time but screaming at children to fix the situation is mind boggling. What I witnessed was a bus driver that had no patience and should not be working with children if they can’t keep their cool. The kids on this bus are as young as 5 and as old as 11…. What happened to pulling the bus over writing the child up for bad behavior or even calling it in to the principal to be addressed. Does any have time for that any more. We are trusting these people with our children! And to hear them yelling rudely to these kids was not appropriate. I can’t speak for the other children on their behavior but I can speak for mine and she doesn’t deserve to be treated in this manor. ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Horrible service. Out of the last 13 days, 5 of them the bus was 45 min late bringing home my kids. My 7 and 10 year old are getting home at almost 5! Not to mention, no one wants to even hear from you. My husband has been hung up on and their excuses are awful. One of the times they forgot to pick my kids up! And didnt inform the school until the school called!

The worst bus company. So poorly run and managed I don't know how they stay in business. Buses are later more times than not and no phone call. But if I am not at the stop at drop off the minute they arrive they are blowing up my phone. Today they were 40 minutes late. When I called them I was told they are short staffed.... Same excuse every time. I won't even get into the torment and bullying my son went through on a daily basis that went unreported.
December 10 - my younger son's van 25 minutes late, no call. Wrong van came to pick up my other son to bring him to a school he hasn't attended in 2 months.

Quite possibly the WORST bus company in the history of bus companies. The dispatchers are awful, rude and have zero knowledge of anything. They refuse to help, they refuse to get answers to your questions and they literally seem like they dont care about your children. Not a single time has a dispatcher ever been helpful. I have called this company weekly, as they still cannot get my sons schedule right. He's 3. He is unable to fend for himself and I truly believe his safety is an issue in the hands of Durham School Services. Today alone I called 57 times, no one answered. I left several voicemails and no on answered. I don't know who is running this company, but they do not do their job and neither does any of the staff. I will say, the bus drivers (mostly) have been caring and sweet. It's not their fault at all. Please do not allow this company to transport your child of any age, anywhere. I wish I could give a negative star review, as the only reason they get one is for the bus drivers.

Very poor company. Their buses will park on the side of busy roads. Creating very dangerous situations for commuters. I’ve called and complained many times. The people working in dispatch either don’t care or dismiss you completely. A bus blatantly pulled out in front of me almost creating an accident with a bus full of kids. I called, complained, and was promised a call back with the an outcome after reviewing tapes... guess what to this day 2 months later still waiting on that call.

This is the worst school bus company in Connecticut they leave kids on the bus bring them back to the bus yard it happen more than twice and the aids strike the kids or call them names they are racists and poor very poor management and the management cover's this up or fires anyone who goes against this.to the parents watch and talk to ur children this is a very bad place for kids

Never have had a good experience with Durham! Drivers drive too fast and aggressive. Durham twice did not show up to our school for the Kindergarten or Preschool field trips this year. My daughter was very disappointed. Preschool was rescheduled for today. The driver was lost and took us way out of way even after being asked if he knew where he was going. Would not admit he was lost. More then once children were jolted from their seats including the adults. When we arrived at the school he came to a stop so quickly my 4 year old hurt her neck. There is no "Durham Difference!"

Durham School Services provides bus service for out-of-town students at Xavier and Mercy High Schools in Middletown. Our son rode the bus almost daily for 4 years, a 45 minute ride from where we live. His driver was always professional and courteous and we are very grateful to him for transporting our son safely and on time, day in and day out in all kinds of weather. It's a very tough job these days, between unruly teenage passengers whose parents never taught them manners and crazy drivers on the road. Also, the bus always appeared to be in good condition, with good tires and all the lights working. Thank you Durham School Services!

Durham School Services is the contracted public school busing service in Wallingford, CT. From my experience with them, their drivers could use a lesson in diplomacy when dealing with parents. They're unapologetically uncooperative, some even plain rude. When contacting the dispatching office, make sure you speak to the manager. The dispatcher will only quote policy, very much the same as the drivers do. If you want any information and want to try and make adjustments to your child's bus itinerary, the manager is the way to go. Of course, you'll still need a sign-off from the school, but trying to accomplish this in the reverse order is often next to impossible.

If I could give this 0 stars I would ….This afternoon while waiting for my daughter to get dropped off from the bus I witnessed the bus driver screaming on the top of her lungs at these children. I was appalled. I get the company is short on drivers but the safety of our children are more important. Horrible service. Out of the last 13 days, 5 of them the bus was 45 min late bringing home my kids. My 7 and 10 year old are getting home at almost 5! Not to mention, no one wants to even hear from you. My husband has been hung up on and their excuses are awful. One of the times they forgot to pick my kids up! The worst bus company. So poorly run and managed I don't know how they stay in business. Buses are later more times than not and no phone call. But if I am not at the stop at drop off the minute they arrive they are blowing up my phone. Today they were 40 minutes late. When I called them I was told they are short staffed.... Same excuse every time. I won't even get into the torment and bullying my son went through on a daily basis that went unreported.

Quite possibly the WORST bus company in the history of bus companies. The dispatchers are awful, rude and have zero knowledge of anything. They refuse to help, they refuse to get answers to your questions and they literally seem like they dont care about your children. Not a single time has a dispatcher ever been helpful. Never have had a good experience with Durham! Drivers drive too fast and aggressive. Durham twice did not show up to our school for the Kindergarten or Preschool field trips this year. Durham School Services provides bus service for out-of-town students at Xavier and Mercy High Schools in Middletown. Our son rode the bus almost daily for 4 years, a 45 minute ride from where we live. His driver was always professional and courteous and we are very grateful to him for transporting our son safely and on time, day in and day out in all kinds of weather. It's a very tough job these days, between unruly teenage passengers whose parents never taught them manners and crazy drivers on the road. Durham School Services is the contracted public school busing service in Wallingford, CT. From my experience with them, their drivers could use a lesson in diplomacy when dealing with parents.
