Very proficient driving school. Customer friendly. I was in the process of trying to become a metro transit police officer. When I was first called out for testing, they rejected me and told me to come back when I had a full drivers license.i called Young’s driving school and 𝑰𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒚 enrolled in their 10 day package deal ( which is $395.00 ). I had little experience driving prior to taking these courses.i found that after the 5th day of class, I was very much confident in my ability to drive.i decided to finish out my classes anyway for the added experience on the road.Young’s school suggested that I save one of my classes for the day of my road test ( which was scheduled for 9:15am ).on that day, I passed my road test and received a full license to drive.i was scheduled two days after that for another shot with metro.they did not deny me this time and I passed all the test that were given that day.i am highly appreciative of Young’s driving school services and would very much recommend them to anyone looking for a good driving school. Mr. Young and Mr. Greg are absolutely amazing driving instructors. I had 3 driving lessons, which helped me break bad habits and become a more confident driver. Their patience made me more comfortable and easy to follow instructions. They helped me learn about the regulations of the road, since DC roads can be a bit tricky at times. Mr. Young, Mr. Greg, and Mr. Augustin were the best driving instructors I could have asked for. They are all willing to work with YOUR schedule and are really understanding if you need to reschedule. I had a lot going on, juggling school and work and needed to find time to get a driver's license. Mr. Young was very accommodating which allowed me to get a couple of lessons in each week. Unorganized and money hungry. VERY unprofessional on the day of my road test. Showed up late which resulted in me loosing about 30 minutes of instruction time before my test, and when I mentioned his tardiness, I was brushed off. He told me ‘I gave you a $10 discount or your car rental, that’s enough’ I was appalled because I didn’t know $10 equaled a half hour of lessons. All of this resulted in me failing. Another time, I had lessons scheduled and we agreed for me to pay upon the instructors arrival which was a Tuesday, MR YOUNG calls me on Sunday while I’m at work, demanding I stop what I was doing to pay him at that moment. Very unprofessional!! The only gem in this school is Mr. Gregg. I wish he’d leave and work for CAS. Mr. Young is terrible. Would not recommend. Read Less

Compared to the other driving schools in the DMV, Young's school gives you the most for your money. While most driving school set the rate and hours, Mr.Young will work with you if the schedule you set with him becomes conflicted with something else, as long as you do it in a timely manner. Young's Driving School is one of the best experiences for people with no driving experience and/or experienced drivers. Mr. Young is professional, flexible, and patient. Those are key traits when looking for a driving school to attend. He is cost efficient out of all of the driving schools I compared, his package deals were the best. When I first started I had no prior driving experience. He was very knowledgeable with all the technical tips he gave. I easily was able to adapt to his teaching methods as he changes them to suit you as the driver. He never raised his voice or showed panic when I made any type of mistakes he kindly corrected me and made sure I had everything right and downpacked. He worked around my schedule to make sure I had all the lessons I needed. He made driving very easy for me where as I was nervous and he gave me the confidence I needed to take and pass my road test within 3 months of receiving my learners permit.
