Call this place they don't answer, call the DMV they don’t answer, call the Bureau of administrative review (BAR), recommended by the DMV when I went in person, they dont answer! Tax collectors office answered but was only able to give me the same answer the DMV did. They say I have a failure to complete substance abuse program preventing me from getting my license and then I remember that comes from when I went to DUI counterattack and got evaluated as part of my requirements for probation. Mind you I was on probation for a DUI that my BAC was under the legal limit but the state attorney said it was actually because of the concentration of THC in my system at the time that made them continue pressing for a DUI. At the end of the evaluation that I answered honestly and thought went smoothly, the evaluator says based on my answers im required to take a substance abuse class not their DUI class they offer that I completed. I ask why, she says it’s because I answered YES when asked if I ever had a hangover before, and that hangovers are a sign of withdrawal. By that logic basically everyone I know that has had a sip of alcohol before is required to do a substance abuse program. I know multiple other peeople who have been in the same boat and says the evaluation whether you answer honestly or not ALWAYS results in needing to take that class, I guess I only know people with substance abuse problems. This was EIGHT years ago I don't even drink or smoke anymore, im not going to do a program lecturing me on the effects and dangers of substances that i’m already well aware of. Especially considering my DUI was based on THC level, not alcohol levels but my evaluation results are based on drinking in the past. Still I was curious how long/how costly the program is but trying to get answers from anyone is like pulling teeth. If I don’t have a drivers license and they dont answer the phone, what am I supposed to do uber across the city to show up in person and HOPE I have all the proper documentation they may need and that they give me all the answers right then and there. Non Profits need to keep workers on payroll, what better way than to sign off on referrals for substance abuse programs, that I have an odd feeling is going to be more than a couple bucks.

Ms Ruth was so helpful and kind. She explained everything well and made sure the scheduled class worked for my schedule. I’m truly grateful she made this difficult time a little easier to manage.

Got to say that this was the most helpful and caring place after dealing with this tough situation first location that greated me with a smile and non prejudice after all im not a criminal the counter girls were very helpful and informative Nancy really took her time to walk me through this process.the law enforcement dmv community can really take tips from this location. Simple and common courtesy goes a long way after all were all human beings great job Nancy and company thank you for all your help

Great organization they will help you get through your DUI situation. Just listen and show up on time. Part of life is simply showing up and not complaining about it. 88% of life is simply about showing up show up on time participate and you will be just fine. The prices are reasonable. The lessons learned you will retain for the rest of your life. Some of it may come off as being redundant, but you got yourself into this situation. It isn’t about how hard we fall. It’s about how we pick ourselves back up, dust ourselves off and move on each case is at an individual level with that being said this isn’t something that you just forget about easily it takes time sometimes it takes an entire lifetime. Some people have her others because of their actions. Some people luckily haven’t hurt anyone not even themselves. Some people were caught off guard completely. Some people had to get caught so they could begin a change begin a new if you will and some people simply just won’t understand the entire situation wherever you fall into make sure you are on the right side of your own history. Only you write your own book and only you can make the necessary changes. To embed yourself not for others, but for yourself make yourself a better person than you were yesterday. You’ve got this you can do it. Alcohol and drugs aren’t the answer. They are just a temporary fix for something much much deeper that needs to be looked into that needs to be healed. If it can be talk therapy works grounding therapy works sometimes medication can work, but you do not want to become dependent on medication prescription or otherwise because that leads to prescription abuse which leads to a dark road ahead. Only you can create your own happiness in this lifetime and only you can make the decision to make a change.

This is unbelievable. I have an interlock device and the company had a cyber attack. I showed up for my calibration and they couldn’t do it because systems were down. I have a receipt to prove it. I went to the DMV and they said this was in counterattack. I called several times. The DMV is suspending my license on Wednesday for something I didn’t do. The counter attack woman. Said I had to come in for a class and pay for it. I’m not doing g it because I’ve done nothin Wrong. I’ve hired a lawyer and I’ll see you in court.

This is unbelievable. I have an interlock device and the company had a cyber attack. I showed up for my calibration and they couldn’t do it because systems were down. I have a receipt to prove it.
