Golden Gate Traffic School has been serving the Collier County Community since May 2001. A family operated business, Golden Gate Traffic School strives to provide the best and most extensive choice of classes and courses for our clients. We are conveniently located at the center of Golden Gate City, (4766 Golden Gate Pkwy) right across the street from the fire station, and more importantly from the Collier County Clerks of Courts which is where you pay your ticket.

I attended Golden Gate Traffic & Driving School’s 32-hour Train the Trainer (Driving Instructor Certification) class with Joe, and it was fantastic. Joe is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and insightful—he explained everything thoroughly and broke it down by law so it was easy to understand.
The course was comprehensive and well-structured, with expert guidance, hands-on training, and real-world techniques to prepare you to teach safe driving. Joe made the material engaging and gave clear, step-by-step direction through all the certification requirements. I left feeling confident and ready to become a Florida-approved driving instructor.
If you’re looking to start a career as a driving instructor or renew/expand your credentials, this is the place to go. Joe and the school deliver top-notch training. Highly recommend!

Watch Out!!! Swindle you out of money as soon as you get here. Website says $39 phone recording says $50. When you show up in person he swindles you out of an extra five dollars and charges you $55. I...
Watch Out!!! Swindle you out of money as soon as you get here. Website says $39 phone recording says $50. When you show up in person he swindles you out of an extra five dollars and charges you $55. I called him out and questioned him on this he says that’s just what it is. I asked him where is the Price posted for $55 he says it’s what I say it is and then he refused me service.

As a new Florida driver, I expected to learn a lot, but I was surprised by how much more I gained from this course. Joe was incredibly informative and made all the basics easy to understand during the 4-hour Basic Driver Improvement class. I left feeling more confident, knowledgeable, and prepared to be a safe driver. Highly recommend! Excellent 5 stars!

Joe was great , I Admit I was wondering why he took to people the youngest in the class and ask them all of the questions. At the end of the class dancer was clear these kids shouldn’t have a license. Joe was a great teacher , that time flew by so quick. And even I learned something new. You can only go once a year so I won’t be seeing you tomorrow joe. But I am going to come take your safety course. Kudos Joe great class.

My daughter needed driving lessons, so I paid for private lessons with a driving instructor. The instructor, Carlos, refused to listen to my daughter's needs - driving in traffic, parking, and navigating four way stops. Carlos chose to drive her down 951 to Marco Island - - no parking, no traffic and only one four-way stop. What a waste of money! Save your money and go someplace else.

My daughter had two weeks to learn to drive and take her test. Carlos was unbelievably kind and patient and she was successful at the end of her two weeks . Thank you Carlos !!!

As a new Florida driver, I expected to learn a lot, but I was surprised by how much more I gained from this course. Joe was incredibly informative and made all the basics easy to understand during the 4-hour Basic Driver Improvement class. I left feeling more confident, knowledgeable, and prepared to be a safe driver. Highly recommend! Excellent 5 stars!

Joe was great , I Admit I was wondering why he took to people the youngest in the class and ask them all of the questions. At the end of the class dancer was clear these kids shouldn’t have a license. Joe was a great teacher , that time flew by so quick. And even I learned something new.
