Roadmaster is a hands on truck driving school and CDL training center with locations across the United States. Most trucking companies require a the successful completion of the CDL test and a commercial driver's license upon hire. As a truck driver training school, Roadmaster provides you with the CDL training you need to get either a Class A CDL or Class B CDL license to help you start your professional trucking career.

DONT GO HERE!!! FIND A BETTER SCHOOL!!!
Baffles me how this place has the rating it does. DONT LISTEN TO YOUR RECRUITER!!! 4 weeks and needing only $200 is a lie. You're gonna be here at least 5-6 weeks and need more like $300-$400.
They won't prepare you for the state driving test at all. They'll tell you all the wrong information and it's more like students teaching students and ofc the students don't know what they're doing. Allen and Telby are pretty cool don't listen to Mike and don't listen to Rafael they don't know what they're doing they're just winging it!
Rafael shouldn't be in the position he's in as manager, He's so petty he'll threaten you for just helping out your classmates when he isn't doing anything at all paying any attention to his class. And you tell him the area you need to study in and he'll completely ignore that and send you wherever and just argue with you about it! He doesn't care about your education he just sees you as a paycheck.
DON'T GO HERE!! FIND A BETTER SCHOOL!!!
Edit: I called the number in the reply and talked to someone. They made it sound like they were gonna talk to the school and make some changes. Talked to my friend who just graduated from here and he said they didn't change anything! So basically all concerns went through one ear and right out the other

Special thanks to Roadmaster Driver School Tampa Florida for all the help and dedication of showing up to work day in and day off and dealing with the nonsense of whipping new drivers into real drivers I completely wholeheartedly thank you for all the trials and tribulations that you not only went through but put us through in order to make us the professionals that we are today special thank you to Rafael for your honesty JD for being real with the students in connecting with classrooms at a time Alan for the most wildest impression of a influential teacher ever seen I think Jeff for his patients in the time he's put into his job I think Steve for being here day in and day out and taking the time out to teach students I think Raphael especially for the times that he has given his whole hearted Testament to so many different things that we will be facing and that we face on a daily basis there is so much to learn from the school I think the staff from the front desk all the way down to Rebecca in the time and effort that they have put into making our experience the best it could possibly be but my personal note thank you very much John for the time you have taken out of your day to show me what I need before entering the road to a life-changing career, thank you all so very much

Roadmaster Truck Driver School was a great experience from start to finish. The instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and truly cared about helping students succeed. The staff was always supportive and professional, making the entire process smooth and welcoming.
I started school not knowing anything about trucking, but everything I was taught during my time there helped prepare me for the next chapter in my career. I’m grateful for the training, guidance, and confidence they gave me along the way.

Solid foundation of knowledge. Instructors are the masters of truck driving. Everything you learn and see will be using in the trucking industry. JD, Steve, Rafael, Michael, John, Allen, and all of the instructors are exceptional at their job. Instructors will challenge you to get better at your skills. Became a better overall driver due to what you learn at Tampa Roadmaster. School will make you more discipline and focus on your goals. They are the best in the industry and want to see you succeed in life.

I recently attended roadmaster school. The best experience I had. I went to the school not having a clue about trucking. But the Instructors are amazing. They work hard on preparing you. I really feel like all the staff has become family members to me. You learn so much and I'm so glad I went to roadmaster, instead of Tampa trucking. I can honestly say your not just a number at roadmaster the Instructors really care about you. My one only complaint is that students has to to go to school Monday thru Saturday from 7am to 6pm doesn't allow you to work. I think roadmaster should give students $200 a week and add it to their fiance charges. So that way they can get incidentals and food for the week. Just a suggestion I can really see not having money or not be able to work around that schedule can become a huge problems for student. I definitely struggle.

Very knowledgeable instructors, overall a great school dedicated to getting you your CDL. They will provide you with tips and tricks to help you better pass their course. If your dedicated and willing to put in the work you will never regret going to road masters. This school will be straight up with you as well. there will be no sugar coating anything.

Great training experience ! I’ve learn so much in the just the 3+ weeks I’ve been there . You get what you put in to it . Have positive perspective , listen and apply what you are taught and be patient and you will succeed. It’s your , money , career and time , use it all wisely. Don’t be afraid to ask questions — attitude is also everything . You reap what you sow :)
Instructors - Gerardo, Don, Sean , Craig, Chris, rick , Fred , Scott , and all the other instructors have been patient , eager to teach and train and I am forever grateful for their time and kindness. Thank you all so much. Definitely recommend this training center .

It's a tough business training truck drivers. If you think it's easy try it. They do a good job and they care about the the quality of the drivers they produce. Suck it up and pay attention and you will get through 3+ weeks of hard earned experience that will lead you into a lucrative career in the transportation industry.

Besides a student threatening to kill me after he realized he had a big mouth and couldn't fight like this was some sort of daycare for ignorance instead a place to help you advance in life, I think the staff here is great. Sean is cool and knowledgeable, but I'm annoyed that he took his well deserved vacation while I was there. All of the instructors do there job well but Stephen might hate me for this but he she get his but out of the Ac and go to the pad. Because of him I can aly dock like a pro. If you listen to Auora , she gives you what you need to succeed . Nobody will hold your hand , your an adult . Take responsibility and work! Your success depends on you and your work ethic . My first day I was practicing PTI like She told me to. Marcus is another great instructor and he's a lead for a reason. Miguel should be promoted and so should Christian . I'm anti social and I don't like anyone but the people I mentioned are the reason why I am confident that I will be successful. Sean is stuck on swift but hey I like the dolphins even when they lose so everyone has a preference 😂.

All the staff and instructors were very knowledgeable about driving and gave personal experiences to help better prepare students for life on the road. Everyone was very approachable and open to give advice and assistance when students were having difficulties. Job placement was very impressive and quick with responses from companies within days. I would like to thank Aura Hall for her support of the Veterans. I would also like to thank all the instructors for their assistance, encouragement and support for Veterans. I was truly a great experience. Again thank you to the staff and instructors.

Instructors where great knowledgeable and patient. I passed my state exam with the right knowledge and confidence in myself....I started day one with my permit in hand so the first week in the class room could've definitely been spent better. I was told we would have 2 15 minute breaks and 1 hour lunch. But in actuality the gave us 2 30 minute breaks and a 1 1/2 hour lunch so I feel like over the 16 days of training, I was beat for an hour a day of training equaling 16 hours that I don't get back.. one third of the way thru my training corporate came in and put new procedures in place so things changed half way thru, when things that were taught in my first week of driving and backing where changed it made it difficult to have to learn the same things over again in a different manner..on the other hand staff was friendly and really helpful. All in all it was a short tough course that I came out on top of.

I recently attended roadmaster school. The best experience I had. I went to the school not having a clue about trucking. But the Instructors are amazing. They work hard on preparing you. Besides a student threatening to kill me after he realized he had a big mouth and couldn't fight like this was some sort of daycare for ignorance instead a place to help you advance in life, I think the staff here is great. All the staff and instructors were very knowledgeable about driving and gave personal experiences to help better prepare students for life on the road.
