Ms. Shavoka was a great driving instructor and made my first experience driving on the road much less stressful. She was patient, calm, and made me feel comfortable throughout every lesson. She was very hands-on during instruction and always paid close attention to what I was doing behind the wheel. Whenever I made a mistake, she corrected me right away and explained what I should do differently, which helped me learn and improve quickly. She guided me through each step, provided helpful feedback, and made sure I understood the proper techniques and rules of the road. Her encouragement and guidance helped build my confidence as a new driver, and I always felt safe and supported during lessons. I am grateful for her support and would highly recommend her to anyone learning how to drive. I also had Ms. Tinna, she was an amazing driving instructor. She was very patient, encouraging, and always had a positive and upbeat attitude that made every lesson enjoyable. She provided notes, step-by-step instructions for parking, and other helpful tips that I could review outside of class. I was a little nervous at first about choosing the right driving school for me, but A1 Driving School proved to be the perfect fit. I did all of my driving lessons with the best driving instructor, Miss Melonie Wells. She is kind, patient, and encouraging. Even when I made mistakes, she never made me feel bad about them—instead, she explained exactly why the mistake happened and showed me how to correct it if the situation were to come up again. She gave great tips on keeping my wheels straight, staying in my lane, parallel parking, and reverse parking, which helped me gain confidence and ultimately get my license after only 3 lessons! She is also very accommodating and one of the nicest people I’ve met. If you’re trying to get your license, I highly recommend choosing Miss Wells as your driving instructor. Read Less

I enjoyed the class. The instructor Brady Johnson had to come in as a replacement instructor last minute and did a great job. This course is the perfect way to reduce points on your license or get a premium discount on your auto insurance or in some cases both. There are always plenty of class days and times to choose from to fit your schedule and the staff are very accommodating. Read Less

This class was amazing seriously!! A boring Saturday turned into a engaging and very informative and funny lesson on driving! The instructor was so fun and he related everything back to real life. I actually learned a lot that I didn't know or learn in my drivers ed class! I could not be more happy to have gone to this driving school. It was my first and hopefully last time I will ever have to take a defense driving class but if I end up having to again, I will definitely come here HANDS DOWN! THE BEST!!! Read Less

Idk. I'd check into other schools. This area is not very safe. It's been a week and I still haven't received my certificate. If I knew then what I know now... I'd go somewhere else. I believed the reviews here. Do not eat at the sandwich shop next door. Food made some classmates sick, owner is mean to customers and his wife. My daughter takes lesson at A1.  Cheshire Bridge location.  She seems to like her instructors and enjoying.  Yes, instructors are very nice and knowledgeable.But many of them don't last.  Right after my daughter got know one instructor, she quit.  Another one left for long term.  One of them are always late for at least 10 minutes.  One time instructor was late over 30 minutes.  Therefore my daughter had to share instructor with someone else (another student) for overlap time due to instructor's schedule for the evening.  But this instructor is very good at teaching and very kind with a lot of patient.  Guess that is the break.Recent office management is awful!  New office attendant is not interested in quality customer service or support customer's needs.  It takes forever to process, after we paid "at location" for additional lessons.  In spite of the fact, my daughter is in their system, new office attendant says a week to process to just get a lesson-assign link.  That is ridiculous!It was never like that when Maggie was the office attendant.  Maggie wouldn't let this crap happen.  Ever since Maggie left to different location for her new role, quality of service went down significantly. Get ready for a fun day- I attended the Cheshire Bridge Rd location. Bring snacks. They'll get you free lunch. There's water and coffee for students. Don't be late, don't be angry, just get it done.
