I recently completed trucking school (Class-A Automatic) in 2026, and I can honestly say it was a great experience from start to finish. The instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and truly dedicated to helping me and all their students succeed. They took the time to make sure I understood both the classroom material and the hands-on driving experience, which made me feel confident and prepared for the road. A special shout-out to Mr. Roberto, Ms. Francesca; Mr. Juan!!!
What stood out the most was how much the staff genuinely cared about their students. They were always willing to answer questions, offer encouragement, and help me improve my skills. The environment was professional, supportive, and motivating, which made learning much easier and enjoyable. They also work around your scheduling/work which is a added bonus!
I would definitely recommend Atlanta Truck Driving School to anyone looking to start a career in trucking. They provide quality training, great guidance, and a positive atmosphere that helps students build confidence and succeed. I’m thankful for the experience and appreciate everything the school and instructors did to help me reach my goals.

It’s definitely a bit challenging if you aren’t self motivated. Instructors are very knowledgeable and very helpful through out your time in school.
I would definitely recommend this school! One thing I would say is that as far as the pre-trip inspection that you really need to put time an effort into memorizing it. Other then that maneuvers are easy but really pay attention to the instructors on how to set the truck. tips and tricks that they show you are very helpful! I was able to pass on my first try! Thanks ATDS!

If you're looking for a CDL school I highly recommend ATDS as they will push you to be the best driver possible and encourage you to keep at until you get it! It took me a couple of tries to pass the skills test but once you get the technique, you GOT IT!
My advice: when learning the maneuvers, definitely pay close attention to technique and tips from the instructor. If you can, bring a phone holder so that you can record the practice sessions as this will come in handy. If you can, ask for more time to practice the 4th maneuver as this is the hardest one. Lastly, don't get frustrated or discouraged if you don't pass the first time. It took me quite a few tries to pass the 4th maneuver but if you focus on the technique you'll get it with zero pull ups! Good luck, you got this!

I just finished my exam very well last week. Now I got my CDL and fulfilled my dream. I had a bad experience at another school but when I went to school This is everything different. Very effective one-on-one training program, 34 hours of solo driving, driving skills improve significantly, if you are a new driver with no previous driving experience, you can buy additional driving hours (this other schools never tell you), you don't have to wait in line for your turn to drive. Ms. Francesca is very cute and enthusiastic. If English is your problem, Ms. Francesca is willing to listen to you and try to talk slowly to explain to you clearly. Mr. Roberto is the owner of the school but he is very enthusiastic and approachable. Mr. Joan and Mr. Hoze are the two people who teach you how to drive every day. They are also very enthusiastic and experienced, but also a bit fastidious and nagging. I had a very good experience studying at this school. I also recommend my friends to study at this school because of the unique training program here. I have looked at over 10 schools in GA, but this is the only school where you study alone with one truck and one teacher.

You should not go to this school if you have no previous experience driving big rigs. You only get 17 hours of training and they will charge you extra if you need more assistance than 17 hours can provide. Not quality trainers and they dictate your schedule telling you what days they can train you not the other way around. Oh and you only get 2 to 3 days of training per week. Beware!!! Total scam!!

Dont pass up the chance to check this School out, you will be happy you did . One on One Expert Training, Job Placement. I had Juan , from Day one, He knew what he was talking about. He took time to teach me at my learning level. patient and answered every question I had. What I liked most is the Instructors dont push you through, and really Train you for On the road situations. They take personaly , how important this occupation is and the safety involved. Talk to Roberto the Owner, He will tell you the Truth about what the school offers. after 2 years of Unemployment, Back to work , 2 weeks after Graduation.

I recently completed trucking school (Class-A Automatic) in 2026, and I can honestly say it was a great experience from start to finish. The instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and truly dedicated to helping me and all their students succeed. They took the time to make sure I understood both the classroom material and the hands-on driving experience, which made me feel confident and prepared for the road. I would definitely recommend this school! One thing I would say is that as far as the pre-trip inspection that you really need to put time an effort into memorizing it.
