I highly recommend A-1 Driving School, especially my instructor, Behrang Derakhshan. Before meeting Behrang, I had already completed 8 hours of driving lessons with other instructors, but I still did not feel confident or fully prepared for the road test. I felt that some important driving skills had not been explained clearly, and I was frustrated with my progress. After taking 4 hours of lessons with Behrang, everything changed. He is patient, professional, knowledgeable, and an excellent teacher. He took the time to identify my weaknesses, explain concepts clearly, and build my confidence step by step. His teaching methods made difficult skills much easier to understand and practice. Thanks to his guidance, my parking, lane changes, roundabouts, and overall driving skills improved significantly. Most importantly, he helped me gain confidence behind the wheel and finally feel prepared for my road test. What impressed me most was that he genuinely cares about his students' success and provides detailed feedback after each lesson so you know exactly what to improve. This is the second time that I have used A1 driving school. I sent my oldest thru last year using the Johns Creek location. Sent my second son this year. My experience has been drastically different. The class at the Johns Creek location went fine. The difficulty came when I had the wrong idea to call the number for Vivian to get help with scheduling his drives. The woman I think her name was Cara or something like that acted put out because some of the instructors are teachers and I should have known. She was rude and salty and when I asked to speak to some one else she said she was the only one I could talk to. She was awful and just so very wrong in her attitude. It is just a shame that she turned this customer to take her next kids to another driving school. A1 should remember they are not the only game in town but why should they care since they hire people like this to answer their phones. Very disappointed. Read Less

Attended the defensive driving course and it was excellent with good tutor who was well versed with all the rules and he made sure that we understood everything while driving by giving examples and videos. I would recommend to others too. Read Less

I took some notes but even if you didn't, you would pass easily. The test was easy. Great way to lower insurance rates. Learned some interesting facts and laws that I forgot or didn't know about. My instructor, Darryl tried to make and fun and interesting so I appreciated that. Read Less

Very impressed. My daughter did the classroom portion of drivers ed here and it was very standard. But she also had 6 hours of behind the wheel training, and that was excellent! Her instructor Scarlett McLain was stellar -- giving lots of good tips and making sure she is truly prepped for her road test. Plus, they are cheaper than Drive Smart Georgia. Read Less
