This school is amazing. The staff is kind, knowledgeable and my son enjoyed every step along the way. We purchased the 6 in person classes with the 3 (2 hour) driving lessons and he took his test with them. I can’t rave enough about the experience. I will definitely be signing my other kids up when they are 15.

I had previously rated the driving school really high, but have not had such a good experience lately. My daughter took classes and lessons a few years ago and it was a great experience, but I chose to use New London for her brother this summer and unfortunately the service now is not what it was then. It seems like they have taken on too many students now. They were booked up on driving lessons for over an entire month when I just called. Today is July 8th and I was told they don't have a single lesson available for my son until late August. They were very focused on how much driving I had already done with my son and were encouraging me to wait even longer to get him started on driving lessons with them. It seemed as if they really don't want to be the ones doing the first lessons of new drivers. They want to wait until you have already taught them to drive with them. The classes were also packed and there was one (class #5) we had a hard time getting him into. The classes also didn't have the same hands on experience this time. My daughter got to actually see some emergency vehicles and a tractor trailer. They used to have an option to order a hot lunch. There was none of that this time, so the service now really isn't any better than the less expensive classes they offer at the high schools.

When I went to this place a couple years ago, I had a little bit of anxiety surrounding driving, but was generally ok being behind the wheel. Going to the in person classes, my anxiety was horribly exacerbated. About 5 to 10 percent of what you are taught in the classroom classes is useful to driving, the rest is all scare tactics. They show you actual gore and horrid videos and after attending the in person classes, I was terrified of driving. It took me so long to come back from that. A younger family member of mine is attending this driving school now and tells me nothing has changed. Maybe most kids can shake that kind of stuff off, but some kids can’t and will be set back tremendously by the extreme anxiety this class instills in them. There are better ways to teach kids to be safe on the road. My driving instructor for the actual driving bit of this course was wonderful though.

Your guidance, encouragement, and willingness to support him through the learning process truly made a difference. Learning to drive is an important milestone, and having someone as supportive and knowledgeable as you to help along the way meant a great deal to both him and our family.

I can't say enough good things about New London! My two daughters, who are seven years apart, both attended this driving school, and the experience has been incredibly positive for our family. The instructors are not only highly knowledgeable but also patient and engaging, making every lesson enjoyable.
What impressed me the most is how both my daughters still remember important information and techniques from their time there. This speaks volumes about the effectiveness of the program and the dedication of the instructors.
The communication throughout the process was excellent! From scheduling lessons to providing feedback, you could really tell they do it because they care!

We had a number of problems with this school. They changed the classroom curriculum in the middle and the 2 out of the 3 instructors that he had weren't very helpful. The third one was really good and did a good job -- we actually paid for another lesson with him, but overall this experience was a disappointment.

A wonderful school. The instructors are excellent and the standards high. They are understanding and patent with students, as well as being good folks. I recommend it.

This school is amazing. The staff is kind, knowledgeable and my son enjoyed every step along the way. I can't say enough good things about New London! My two daughters, who are seven years apart, both attended this driving school, and the experience has been incredibly positive for our family.
