I took my road test here recently and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. For the price I paid, I expected professionalism, patience, and clear communication, especially since this is a service for new drivers.
From the beginning, the examiner did not introduce herself or make any effort to create a calm testing environment. Her tone throughout the test felt passive‑aggressive, and several of her comments came across as irritated rather than instructional. As a new driver, this immediately put me on edge.
The most concerning part was being failed for making a left turn on a green light at an intersection clearly marked “Left Turn Yield on Green.” I yielded, waited for oncoming traffic to clear, and only turned when it was completely safe. I was told this was an “automatic fail,” which contradicts the actual meaning of the sign. This left me confused and feeling that the scoring was inconsistent.
At one point, the examiner even raised her voice at me for slowing down slightly after she made a comment. Yelling at a nervous new driver does not create a safe or supportive testing environment. I should not have been shaking at the steering wheel during a paid service that is supposed to evaluate skill, not intimidate.
Overall, the lack of professionalism, unclear expectations, and dismissive attitude made this experience extremely discouraging. I hope the school takes this feedback seriously, because new drivers deserve patience, clarity, and respect during such an important milestone. Read Less
