We offer DUI classes (also known as risk reduction), defensive driving classes, and behind the wheel driving lessons. I actually called this school sometime last year 2025 as I was checking around the area for driving schools/lessons. I placed my lessons on hold but decided this year 2026 before my learners expires I have to just go get it over with. After checking around I came back upon this same school on google and called. From the customer service from the individual that answered the phone, to providing the information that I needed to make my decision to completing the orders for my lessons, signing my contract, every step of the process was hassle free and once you call the number someone was there ready to help. And last but the most important my driving instructor “JAMAICA” 🤗🤜 you are the best: you listened to me, you met me where I was with the little driving skills that had and you helped me to perfect it to where I was sooo comfortable sitting around the steering wheel and driving for over 25 minutes to be comfortable. I thank you so much for your patience and being understanding. Keep up the excellent work your doing and I really appreciate your time and all that you taught me over the 3 sets of lessons to make me confident to go acquire my drivers license….👏👏👍🇯🇲

As an adult driver 1ACT driving school made this process very easy and comfortable. I have an anxiety of driving and then structures made me feel comfortable and confident while behind the wheel. I took the 10 hour course with Christopher Drummond and Jamaica Owens, who are both fantastic instructors. I took my road test with the school as well at the Lawrenceville location with Dashawn. He didn’t stress me out during the test and even gave me corrective measures after the test of other areas I could focus on. With the school, I was able to pass the test on the first try and receive my license as an adult driver. I would definitely recommend this to any first time or adult drivers who are interested In getting their license.

I had a great experience with 1 Act Driving Schools. The DUI/RRP class I took this weekend went very smooth and was well organized from start to finish. David Watts was an amazing instructor — very cool, friendly, and easy to understand, which made the class much more comfortable and engaging than I expected. Erika was also super helpful and professional with communication and getting everything uploaded quickly. I really appreciate how easy they made the whole process. I highly recommend 1 Act Driving Schools to anyone who needs DUI classes done the right way.

The entire process from start to finish was smooth. The website and student portal was well informed and provided accurate next steps. Staff was friendly and very professional. I had a couple issues along the way, and Erika went out her way to quickly handle them and made contact to let me know they were completed. That meant alot to me. Other business would have waited 24hrs to respond. Allen, the instructor, was well informed, punctual, and made sure class was learning the material. The one word that I can use to describe my experience with 1 ACT is "integrity." I was enrolled with a competitor and was in a continuous class reschedule loop. I was extremely frustrated and disappointed until I located 1 ACT via a google search. I called and spoke with Ash who was very personable and provided a great deal of helpful information. After speaking with him, I was completely sold and transferred my information over to him within minutes. To say the least, I was in his class within days. This was a great decision and a good experience. He and his entire staff were extremely personable. I highly recommend them and will say you will be pleased with your experience as well. Great facility with modern equipment.

Ash is a very great person a honest joy to be around kind of lift your spirits up just a happy person! David is the instructor he is a really easy going guy! Hes really cool does his best to try to relate to you!He does a great job in bringing out the best in the class tries to get everyone involved!! Hats off to David he did a really great job and I can say this class isn't what I thought it was going to be!!! They they made it fun and they did a really great job

This class was a great experience if you have to take the class. The place was clean and nice, the staff and instructor were helpful and made the material interesting. I had some real unexpected hurdles the week of class and they worked with me and even provide amazing lunch.

I am in the restaurant industry so paying $355 and missing out on weekend money would've sucked
1Act offers weekday classes, which, nobody else does.
There is fresh coffee in the mornings and long horn lunch was provided as well as adequate breaks.
Facility is very clean and conveniently located.
I am very satisfied with my choice in 1Act Driving School.

I have to say that this is really the best and #1 DUI school throughout the metro Atlanta area. I was looking all over other DUI schools but they are no where compared to 1st Act DUI school, which the environment is crisp, clean and friendly. All the learning materials were very well explained accurately through details shown on video as well as lectures and they even bought us lunch from Longhorns which is the best part ever. I want to give a shout out to the instructor, David who is very knowledgeable, lenient and informative. Also another shout out to the owner Ash Hodge, who made sure all the students were well taken care of throughout the three days in class. I have to say 1st Act DUI school, is indeed the best place to go to if you want and choose to complete your risk reduction program course.The staff is truly amazing!!! 5 Stars!!!

There are many reasons why I would recommend 1 Act DUI and defensive driving school. First off there was an easy registration process, also the staff and environment was friendly and welcoming, plus the instructor was knowledgeable and kept you engaged. The main reason for this recommendation is because I have a New York State drivers license and I was having a problem with getting my paperwork to Georgia DDS for reinstatement of my license because they only accept original documents "no third party faxes" and 1 Act director personally assisted me with everything that I needed with no hassle. The owner and fellow workers were more than accommodating and I thank them for that. Sometimes good customer-service is hard to find.

The was far most the best experience I could of hoped for I went in thinking this is going to be one of those judgemental, finger pointing type classes but it wasn't. We was never made to share anything that we might feel bad about never told that we were bad just bad choices which was very true. David was very easy to converse with and explained things throughly. Ash was very helpful and gave good information on helping get points off your license through a class they offer which is a better rate than any of the oher schools. If you want to be comfortable and enjoy this experience take your class here.

Ash is a very nice, understanding, POSITIVE director and the instructor Chris made the course material easy to understand. Giving up a whole weekend for a mandated dui class definitely sits last on my to do list. This place, however, made it more than bearable. The staff itself is extremely accommodating to your needs. The owner is super nice and will go out of his way to make your inconvenience tolerable if not pleasant; he understands the mind set that the students walk in with. I thought as I walked in the weekend would last for an eternity, but, with the: amount of breaks, long lunch period (long horns on them if you so desire), quality and informative teaching, clean environment, the multitude of snacks and drinks (from veggie and fruit platters, assorted chips, candy, to coffee, soda, and hot chocolate), and the ability to get up and stretch your legs when you need to it made for a rewarding experience. This is an establishment I highly recommend!

Great class - well as good as Dui class can be. Has free wi-fi and free lunch they bring in to you (you pick from longhorn's menu) and you get an hour for lunch - and there are lots of nearby places to shop on Roswell Rd during you lunch break! Very nice people, easy to deal with, pretty painless.

if you have to go to DUI School, without question, this is the place to do it. Ash is an amazingly kind and professional owner, and it is clear that they actually do care about their clients. Location is clean, and Longhorns lunch is actually delivered to you on the days that you are in class. If you must do it, 1 Act DUI is the best.

I recently completed the risk reduction course and my experience was awesome for a state-mandated course. Ash is a very nice, understanding, POSITIVE director and the instructor Chris made the course material easy to understand. I recommend this place to anyone that has to take a state mandated driving class. Excellent program, excellent staff oh and I forgot to mention the steak lunch!! A1!

this is an awesome to spend long classes , instructor is really friendly Mr.Ash ,also they offer so much things for snack and not let you feel bored.its a very cozy place and they make it enjoyable.

This is a great clean place to do your risk reduction course. They are like no one else as the choose to offer a complimentary long horn lunch and snacks to help you through your journey.

Giving up a whole weekend for a mandated dui class definitely sits last on my to do list. This place, however, made it more than bearable. The staff itself is extremely accommodating to your needs. The owner is super nice and will go out of his way to make your inconvenience tolerable if not pleasant; he understands the mind set that the students walk in with. I thought as I walked in the weekend would last for an eternity, but, with the: amount of breaks, long lunch period (long horns on them if you so desire), quality and informative teaching, clean environment, the multitude of snacks and drinks (from veggie and fruit platters, assorted chips, candy, to coffee, soda, and hot chocolate), and the ability to get up and stretch your legs when you need to it made for a rewarding experience. This is an establishment I highly recommend!

This scool is absolutely amazing!! They provide snacks...fruit bowls, coffee, cookies, etc.....and EVEN provide lunch from longhorns!!!! The manager is absolutely too generous...

Great class - well as good as Dui class can be. Has free wi-fi and free lunch they bring in to you (you pick from longhorn's menu) and you get an hour for lunch - and there are lots of nearby places...
Great class - well as good as Dui class can be. Has free wi-fi and free lunch they bring in to you (you pick from longhorn's menu) and you get an hour for lunch - and there are lots of nearby places to shop on Roswell Rd during you lunch break! Very nice people, easy to deal with, pretty painless.
