I am very pleased with James as an instructor, he is patient and professional. The inquiry process may seem strange to most, as the other reviews suggest, but it’s advisable to just text instead of call. I have availed 10 sessions, and the experience is truly superb! I was a bit hesitant about taking lessons from About Driving LLC, but I'm glad I took the chance! Mr. James Onishi is a wonderful instructor. His responses were prompt and I was able to start my lessons quickly without much wait time. For a long time I was nervous on the road, but from the first lesson I felt the most comfortable I'd ever been behind the wheel. Mr. Onishi's lessons were tailored to my needs and as a person that needs objective instructions, he was able to provide clear and simple step-by-step guides and markers for skills like parking. His vehicle is very easy to drive and what I appreciate most is he let me choose where to meet and where to end each lesson. He has a very funny but level-headed demeanor (imagine your cool asian uncle). Of the schools I researched, he was the only one that offered the best in convenience (in location), availability, and price. I would highly recommend taking lessons from Mr. Onishi. Read Less
