Horrible experience. The classes didn't teach anything other than about insurance and drinking while driving. When it came time for the behind the wheel, the instructor didn't call back after leaving messages to schedule time for the training. Once we finally got in contact and scheduled a time, he never showed up. We called him back and he said that time doesn't work because he didn't have any contact information. He had VM with the number, all information including address, but still didn't reach out. It took us calling to find out he wasn't coming, after we had everything scheduled. We left a message for the owner, we were told he would call us back in a few days, he was out for a family emergency. Never got a call back, we had to call him after nearly a week. Once we did get the behind the wheel scheduled it was even worse. 4 lessons 90 minutes each instead of 6 lessons at 60 minutes each as we were told. 30 minutes of EACH lesson was sitting in the driveway so basically only got 4 hours of driving instead of 6. The driving training was just as bad as the classroom portion. When we heard back from the manager/owner, he pretty much called us a liar and was very degrading to my wife. I would stay away from this school at all costs. We now see why this school doesn't even have 3 stars for overall reviews.

Very Unprofessional. Never opt for Michaels' Driving School Inc. They do not pass information to customer. Any other Driving school is better than this.

My son take the class last November 2018 , he had all his hours . We change address so I call 3 months in advance to let they know about it so they can sent me the letter my son need for take the drive test , so Megan ( the secretary) told me I don’t need anymore so my son go to take the test and of course he need the letter to proof he had all the hours, so I go to the office and the instructor told , why I don’t change my address?? Really , and He told me he is gone send it... course never happen, so I call again and Megan don’t even found the file or my son 😡😡😡

I was new to this country when I enrolled in their driving program. I was shy and naive. I believe in my heart of heats I was taken advantage by the instructor. It was supposedly a 40 minute behind the wheel driving per sessions. I never got the full 40 minutes ever. The instructor would pick me up from work during my lunch hour. He would have me drive to their office in Addison and leave me in the parking lot till there's just enough time for me to drive back to work. I finished the program and I was not at all ready to take my driving test to get my license. It was a waste of my hard earned money and my time.

This school is absolutely terrible, save your money!!! The teacher that my daughter got was extremely unprofessional and inappropriate at times. He would never give lectures about the actual topic but...
This school is absolutely terrible, save your money!!! The teacher that my daughter got was extremely unprofessional and inappropriate at times. He would never give lectures about the actual topic but would insist that repeating the answers out of AAA manual would be the best way to teach someone how to drive a car. No diagrams or drawings are ever shown and the crucial parts of the car are never spoken of . Mr. Hilligis / Mr. H was extremely rude to the kids and would go off topic very easily ( thus a total waste of a 2 hr class period). So , if you are looking for a great way to waste some money , time , and energy , then Michaels driving school is just the place for you !

During the behind the wheel instruction, my daughter ever received the full time behind the wheel. He stopped several times for a smoke. The last time, he took her to another office and left her in the parking lot at night, all alone for 25 minutes while he went in his office. Totally unacceptable! I heard this happened to another student as well. Don't use this company!

Horrible experience. The classes didn't teach anything other than about insurance and drinking while driving. When it came time for the behind the wheel, the instructor didn't call back after leaving messages to schedule time for the training. Once we finally got in contact and scheduled a time, he never showed up. We called him back and he said that time doesn't work because he didn't have any contact information. I was new to this country when I enrolled in their driving program. I was shy and naive. I believe in my heart of heats I was taken advantage by the instructor. It was supposedly a 40 minute behind the wheel driving per sessions. I never got the full 40 minutes ever. The instructor would pick me up from work during my lunch hour. This school is absolutely terrible, save your money!!! The teacher that my daughter got was extremely unprofessional and inappropriate at times. He would never give lectures about the actual topic but would insist that repeating the answers out of AAA manual would be the best way to teach someone how to drive a car.
