I had my driving lessons with Mario Torres, and he was one of the kindest people i know. The instructors are really good at their profession and teach incredibly well, and also demonstrate really good patience. I took the drivers education last year and it was also another great experience, both teachers are really good at what they do and make learning driving easy. I took lessons here a few years ago and had an awful experience that I still think about. Firstly, they would never send the same instructor I signed up to do my driving time with. Secondly, during my driving test Mr. Cronin raised his voice at me several times (for looking all ways at a stop sign before proceeding) this was never an issue during my driving times, but I also had only driven with Mr. Cronin once due to them sending different instructors! During the test, after he had shouted at me one too many times, I told him he didn’t need to yell at me. In return he continued to shout and argue that he wasn’t yelling at me (LOL). Once the test was over I was crying due to the experience, he tried to essentially tell on me to my Dad for “talking back” and said I would’ve failed the test at the DMV for said “talking back”. Mr. Cronin was extremely disrespectful and rude, but expected to be treated with respect in return. He wouldn’t have talked to an adult like that but felt comfortable speaking to a nervous 16 year old kid that way. It was completely unacceptable and I’d suggest you spend your money elsewhere! I signed up for adult behind the wheel classes here. I had Mr.Torres for most of them and it was a real pleasure to learn from him. He was very patient and I felt comfortable pushing my boundaries as well as being happy after every class because I felt like I learned something new! I was able to get my license and can drive around on my own now vs how I started before the classes. I was able to schedule on my own time as well as Mr.Torres helping me set up a class appointment and so much more.
