I’m incredibly grateful to the team at 160 Driving Academy in Montgomery, IL. From day one, the instructors were patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me succeed. They didn’t just teach me how to pass the CDL test—they made sure I understood the skills and safety practices needed to be a confident, professional driver.
The hands-on training and real-world guidance made a huge difference, and they took the time to answer every question along the way. You can tell they truly care about their students and want to see everyone succeed.
If you’re serious about getting your CDL and starting a career in trucking, I highly recommend 160 Driving Academy. They’ll give you the tools, confidence, and support you need to pass your tests and be prepared for real life driving.

I had graduated from this school back in 2017 and had a great time learning how to operate a semi especially when it came to the yard. When it came to the yard it was exciting and not only to get hands on experience but for the laid back environment. However, when an instructor instinctively notices a student struggling to comprehend a subject such as pre-trip or any other subject then the instructor will help that student in order for the student to graduate, get their CDL and start their new career.

Crest Hill and JJC definitely give you the pull or push you need. Their yard at JJC have the right instructors that will help you overcome your fear of driving and have you accomplishing things you didn't believe you could in no time. If you show them how bad you want it and listen to there instructions. You will have your CDL in no time. Thanks 160 .... JJC !!!!!

10/10 place from beginning to end. Everyone wants you to succeed you just have to show you want it. Nicole was very helpful during the whole process with questions. Once I got to the yard Matt, Dave, Brandon, Dwayne, Rich, and Al were the absolute best answering questions and also staying on me to make sure I stayed focused on the goal. And the Harvey yard Reggie and Gerald were instrumental in making sure I graduated and got my one and done and left with my CDL. Highly recommend this school to anyone as long as you are determined they all will help you get your CDL

I just graduated yesterday from Crest Hill, IL! It was a journey to get through the course but I'm very glad I made it this far to the finish line. Shout out a big thank you to Tim, Sebastian, Duck and Mark for all the training they gave me as well as the other people who passed their test recently. I really had a blast and if anyone is looking to get their CDL, this place is the one! Thank you 160!!!

I came to Pilot to get fuel and I had only 20 minutes extra on my e-log. After this so called "teacher" fuelled this truck with his student, without moving truck to the front, they both went inside fo...
I came to Pilot to get fuel and I had only 20 minutes extra on my e-log. After this so called "teacher" fuelled this truck with his student, without moving truck to the front, they both went inside for 10-15minutes while another 6-7 trucks been waiting. Before teaching to someone something please learn some basic respect to others.
That's happened afternoon on 02/13/17 in Joliet, IL

Just passed my drivers test Thursday from the Waukegan location for my WI CDL. I received the ultimate complement from the tester. She said, " you are by far the best driver to come out of that school...
Just passed my drivers test Thursday from the Waukegan location for my WI CDL. I received the ultimate complement from the tester. She said, " you are by far the best driver to come out of that school. You look and drive as if you feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel." First of all, I give God the credit for equipping me with the desire and the mechanical inclination. Secondly I thank all 3 of the driving instructors, but I give most the credit to "Mighty Joe". I r...eally wanted to learn, and he had the patience to allow me to pick his brain and patiently explain over...and over...and over...and over... every way possible till it finally sank into that thing between my ears (Lol) Annnnnd I suppose Cezaaaar can share in some of the credit too. y'all were a load of fun to train with! Thank you! Ps...someone please pass this message on to them. And I think Joe should be nominated instructor of the Month for his excellent gift of teaching. See More

I’m incredibly grateful to the team at 160 Driving Academy in Montgomery, IL. From day one, the instructors were patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me succeed. They didn’t just teach me how to pass the CDL test—they made sure I understood the skills and safety practices needed to be a confident, professional driver.

I had graduated from this school back in 2017 and had a great time learning how to operate a semi especially when it came to the yard.
