HIGHLY RECOMMEND. This is hands down the BEST CDL school you can attend. You need thick skin , instructors teach you EXACTLY what you need to know AND why. Your hauling 40 tons. If you think it's a walk in the park then don't even go. BEST SCHOOL AROUND GUARANTEE
Any bad review is from someone who just didn't want show up 645 AM , train all day, sign off of pre trip and expect a walk on the park. This school Is i swear by THE ABSOLUTELY BEST CDL SCHOOL AROUND.

MUST READ*******The girl at the office is , clueless, if I could give them 0 stars I would. There are usually new instructors, no one remains for longer than a month, and everyone criticizes and blames one another. I was told the program would last for four weeks, but the teachers didn't seem interested in teaching me or the other students. They teach when they want. There are two classes ahead of me, so I probably still have three months to go even though I've been there for four months. I no longer endorse this truck driving school. RUN! And take your money elsewhere! OH AND VERY OLD EQUIPMENT.

Shelly is the amazing with help she is the best. Ray is very serious but can be very funny at times. Tom was like a great mentor to me his knowledge of driving help me to get my CDL. But I had a wonderful time learning and gain information . You have to be determining about getting it. But the school tells you everything about becoming a driver. It’s giving me great experience. Stars is the best!!!!!!!

This is the best school ever. Shelly is the best and makes sure that you are taking care of. Jimmy Tom and Vick are the best instructors and will stay over to make sure you're okay and and understand what you're doing. By far this was the decision I made this summer and I am making great money no more nickle and dimes

THIS SCHOOL IS NOT FOR THE SENSITIVE
If you need a safe place from words or your feelings get hurt easily A) don't be a trucker B) don't use this school. They will ride you hard to make sure you get it stuck in your head. But they break it down and do their best to make sure you have it nailed. As long as you do your part you're fine.
I can't say enough good things about these guy's. Thank you so much for everything.

The entire staff staff is wonderful here. Shelly was a big help in getting me prepared for my permit and medical card. "Old man" Jim is hard on you but fare, his way of teaching is old school and sticks. I went to Star not knowing the first thing about a semi truck and in 19 days they had me ready for my state test , which I passed first time. I was working the next week with my family dump truck company and I really enjoy it. Thanks a million Star!!!

As a student of Star I thought it would be helpful for someone to find a review here. I would highly recommend star to anyone interested in acquiring a CDL class-A. Their program has been groomed into a well oiled machine. They have experienced instructors who have a knack for teaching this material in a manner everyone can understand. Their goal is your success as a well informed professional driver. They will have you driving a truck confidently by the time you test for you CDL. I will be testing for my CDL in 3 days, I am prepared and confidant. I will update this review soon with the results.There are a few teachers/instructors that have made a lasting impression on my life and I believe Star's instructors will be among them. There are usually new instructors, no one remains for longer than a month, and everyone criticizes and blames one another. Shelly is the amazing with help she is the best. Ray is very serious but can be very funny at times. Tom was like a great mentor to me his knowledge of driving help me to get my CDL. The entire staff staff is wonderful here. Shelly was a big help in getting me prepared for my permit and medical card.
