Excellent driving school. My daughter had to take classes on Zoom. I sat in on a few classes to be sure she was learning. The classes were informative, interactive and very thorough. Cherms, the driving instructor was A+. He was kind, patient, positive and put my daughter at ease as she drove. He was prompt. We never had to wait for him when we met in the Aldi parking lot.
I saw some people complain about not being able to schedule drive times.But it was COVID time and Excel had to comply with the limited amount of students they could take in a car. Also, they were backed up because of quarantine. This was explained to me and I understood this going in to the class. Administration was always professional. They answered my questions. I saw the bad reviews. After my good experience, those reviews told me more about the reviewers than Excel.
I LOVE THIS SCHOOL. I had two children go through this program. I would use it again, and again and again.

My son had a wonderful experience at Excel. Mr. Churms was engaging in the classroom and patient and encouraging with my timid driver behind the wheel. Mr. Churms gave my son the knowledge and confidence needed to pass his driving exam. Thank you!

I highly recommend Excel Driving School. With most places not offering behind the wheel due to Covid, my daughter was on a limited timeline to get her license before her permit expired. Mr. Churms was very accommodating and helpful with scheduling her drive days, and she was able to finish and get her drivers license in time!! He was a lifesaver and my daughter was very happy! Thank you Mr Churms and Excel!!

In the onset of covid - Excel Driving School was very accommodating. Communications was spot on, for me and my son. Mr. Churms is the best and again, communicated with his availability and did his very best to fit us into his schedule, but as an instructor assistant in my son's driving experience - THANK YOU!

Excel Driving School Administration have been a nightmare to deal with. Rude as can be, refused to help facilitate scheduling makeup classes, then threatened to drop my son and make him start the program over for missing class due to a family emergency. When I called to figure out how to reschedule the makeup, I was met with the central office manager screaming and yelling at first my husband, then me. This lady refused to provide her name, refused to let me talk to a supervisor and literally YELLED, “I am the boss”. I requested to speak with the owner since she was so unprofessional and rude and was promised a call back from Kim, who never called. The conversation was beyond unprofessional and shocking how she addressed my husband and I. Needless to say, we’re searching out a new school to complete classes which is unfortunate since he a was halfway through this program. Just AWFUL people to deal with. She told me the Orland Excel is closing soon. Not a shocker especially given this latest experience. Plus, my son hasn’t been able to schedule 1 single driving session to date of 8 hours needed. Teacher has had questionable behavior in class and by text which we tried to overlook until this latest interaction with the administrative staff. All around a miserable experience. Go elsewhere and save your child the waste of time and yourself the aggravation of dealing with inappropriately irate, unprofessional people at Excel’s central office.

Excellent driving school. My daughter had to take classes on Zoom. I sat in on a few classes to be sure she was learning. The classes were informative, interactive and very thorough. I highly recommend Excel Driving School. With most places not offering behind the wheel due to Covid, my daughter was on a limited timeline to get her license before her permit expired. Excel Driving School Administration have been a nightmare to deal with.
