Highly recommend!!!! Cody, Julien, Trent and Danny make a great team of instructors. If you listen to them they will help you out a lot. They are also a very patient group of guys. I personally enjoyed my 4 weeks and passed my CDL test on the first try thanks to the solid group of instructors. It was okay for the most part. It took me a little longer to finish than normal because the end of my second week of training I caught the flu and was down for a week. So, I had to be recycled back into the classes. The weekend classes were started off good because it was less students and more training time. Until the truck I was using started to have “issues”. The instructor over that class didn’t inform me that I would test at the end of my last day and that was it. I failed and had to train in between classes one hour a day. I’m glad I finally had some Caring and Patient instructors at the end. Vern sacrificed his break time in between his morning and evening classes to help me understand that dreadful gap in the reverse offset. Vern, Danny and Trent was inspiring because I was about to give up but they stayed on my heals and encouraged me all the time. I had a great experience at DriveCo CDL Academy. The staff was encouraging and did a great job easing the tension when we were all nervous starting out. Instead of babying us, they got us right into hands-on skills and field training, which really helped build confidence. They made the atmosphere fun, relaxed, and easy to learn in. Trent kept everyone laughing and made things feel less stressful, but still made sure we understood everything. Danny seemed intimidating at first, but he was actually very down to earth and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. Roger (Big Rog) was supportive and patient with all the students. Joe’s stern, old-school approach might seem tough at first, but it was exactly what was needed and it worked. Vern gave me great advice on what to look for while reversing, and the way he explained it really stuck with me. The office staff were also very kind and helpful.
