If you are a single parent who cares about your children education I would not recommend this district. And please don’t be African American , I could name a list of things they have did to my family and kids to make us feel unheard and uncomfortable throughout the years but I will be making noise about this . .

Miss Charlie on bus 52 isn’t compassionate and you can tell she’s only for the money. Telling kids first thing in the morning that’s she’s going to leave them is they don’t hurry up when she can clearly see that the kids are coming for the bus in the COLD weather is INSANE. It’s already hard enough for kids to get up early and the fact that she’s changed the bus stop time a few times without notice. Do better Charlie. And if this is what the transportation is telling their drivers to do- shame on you all. These are children.

The whole Indianapolis school system sucks when it comes to convenience and customer service. This rating however is specifically for the transportation department. I called in because my daughter’s bus information has yet to be updated and she was registered way before July 22. I called in Monday and was told to send an email to transpo. Of course no one replied or did anyone update the information. I called July 31 one day before school starts and an older woman didn’t catch her name because she was in such a rush to lie and tell me anything to get me off the phone that eventually she left me on hold never came back to the phone and refused to answer when I called back on a clear line. They ask for you to be patient because they are behind yet I fail to understand how that is my problem. I did what I was supposed to and because this department is incompetent to do their jobs I was told by this ignorant secretary that I will have to drive my daughter to school until they get around to updating her bus route. Unacceptable!!!!! I can’t wait until the doors open tomorrow because I’m coming for this ladies job.

Miss Charlie on bus 52 isn’t compassionate and you can tell she’s only for the money. Telling kids first thing in the morning that’s she’s going to leave them is they don’t hurry up when she can clearly see that the kids are coming for the bus in the COLD weather is INSANE. The whole Indianapolis school system sucks when it comes to convenience and customer service. This rating however is specifically for the transportation department. I called in because my daughter’s bus information has yet to be updated and she was registered way before July 22. I called in Monday and was told to send an email to transpo.
