In Indiana to get your drivers permit before 16, you have to be registered for behind the wheel training. So we registered here in May of 2025 but did not want to do behind the wheel training until our son was closer to getting his license and had his hours driving with us. Roadstar’s schedule comes out at the beginning of the month and fills up. When we were ready to schedule his drives, the schedule for the next month did not have any openings available for after school or weekends. I didn’t want to be at the mercy of trying to beat other people to schedule his drives when the first of the month came around. For $400, I wanted more flexibility, freedom and options. So we went to Jeff Pfister and scheduled all of his drives over the next 2 weeks. I’m out $400 which stinks and they were not willing to budge on their no refund policy. Read Less

My oldest child just completed their driving instruction and driving test with Road Star. The instructors were kind, patient, engaged, and prepared my child well. After completing the driving test, we were able to go straight to the BMV (with the required forms) and get the license without an issue or any additional tests (written or driving). OK everyone this IS THE PLACE to have your kids go for their driving experience. We have had the best experience with all of the drivers as well as with the Office Manager (huge shout out to you girl!) She has totally turned this place around. From the great customer service and friendly voice to really going above and beyond to help ALL of our kids get their drives accomplished.
