Not enough instructors for all the students to get their drives in. Took our money and have to play hunger games to get drive times scheduled. Watching the site to get drive times scheduled in under 15 minutes is ridiculous. Do NOT recommend.

They do not have enough instructors and you can't get drive times scheduled. There is a 15 minute window each month and if you miss it you are out of luck. Sit staring at your phone on a Friday night ...
They do not have enough instructors and you can't get drive times scheduled. There is a 15 minute window each month and if you miss it you are out of luck. Sit staring at your phone on a Friday night waiting for the drive schedule to post.

Expensive considering very difficult to schedule drives. 01/03/2024, no openings listed for the next 30 days and 02/2024 forward is TBA.
I've heard there is an expiration date associated with these drives or some other issues, annoying with state law/mandates.
As an accomplished CDL driver with more than 2 million miles of incident free operation in North America and in every driving condition, I've trained my student driver beyond 90% of US driver skills.

I had a great experience with Road Star. True, it was challenging to get drive times scheduled but after I contacted their office, the staff was more than helpful with getting drives scheduled. The online courses were informative, and my son learned at a good pace instead of a "crash course". No pun intended. Definitely recommend Road Star!

I had a great experience with Road Star. True, it was challenging to get drive times scheduled but after I contacted their office, the staff was more than helpful with getting drives scheduled. The online courses were informative, and my son learned at a good pace instead of a "crash course". No pun intended. Definitely recommend Road Star!
