This place was highly recommended so it sucks to have to write this review but I bought the course for my boyfriend and I for a birthday gift and we were scheduled July 10th-12th. On July 8th at 7:21pm Todd calls to inform me that the class has been cancelled due to construction at the training course and said he would get with me to reschedule. I reached out 7/17 to see if there was an update with no answer or response when I texted. when learning that a friend of mine has gone through the same this year and was cancelled on and rescheduled with very short notice I again have reached out with no response. I have left two voicemails now as well as a text requesting a refund. The lack of communication that apparently has been an issue this year is not professional and has left us without an experience we were excited to learn more on. Read Less

The course overall seems too fast paced and a bit unfair to new riders in my opinion, having just gone through this class. It is a little easy to fail out of the course and you would have just wasted $300. Thankfully I passed, but barely. 2 other people in the class of 11 people failed out. Both inexperienced riders. The whole course is just 3 days. The first evening is just introductory class material. Then the next day you spend the whole morning and part of the afternoon riding and wrap up the day in the class again. Same thing for the third day which is the last day. So overall you’re spending just the 2 days riding and the 2nd day of it is the riding test you must pass. Not to mention the class schedule has you starting bright and early in the morning(7:45) on the riding days and you don’t get out until 6 or so in the evening. They are cramming in a lot of information to throw at you in that time and the long days make it exhausting. Not to mention they don’t allow long breaks at all during the day(max 5 mins) except for lunch. You’re expected to catch on to everything and pass the riding test despite the long lasting days and little downtime. They don’t leave hardly any room for error and/or perhaps extra time for helping someone who might be struggling to catch on to something. Perhaps they should make the course longer than 3 days so they can stretch out the training longer, not cram so much in a day, have longer breaks, not have as long of days, and overall more riding training including remedial training? I think that would make for a better course experience and reduce the fail out rate in my opinion. Read Less

I showed up today (June 20) at 5:45 PM as instructed, sat in the parking lot for over an hour, and no one ever showed up. I called and texted the listed contact, Todd May, multiple times—no response, no update, no cancellation notice. Nothing.
This was a complete waste of time and money. No communication, no professionalism, and absolutely no respect for my time or payment. I am now demanding a full refund and will be escalating to my bank and consumer protection agencies if I don’t hear back immediately.
