I can’t thank everyone at Gail’s Driving Academy in Ponchatoula enough! From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed. The instructors were patient, kind, and encouraging every step of the way.
A special thank you to Mrs. Brandy for always greeting everyone with such warmth and positivity. You truly make a difference. Thank you all for making this such a great experience—I highly recommend Gail’s Driving Academy!

The absolute best choice for driving classes! I took the adult class (i’m 18) about a month ago and passed my driving skills test with a 100% today. I was TERRIFIED to drive before beginning with Gail’s. Mrs. Brandi was incredibly sweet and timely in the classroom. She was extremely kind and understanding when helping me schedule my drives and handle paperwork. I had my drives with Mr. Mark, Ms. Tori, Mrs. Brooklyn, and Mr. Richard. I had amazing conversation with each of them. The four two hour drives absolutely flew by. They all gave me amazing tips and were super patient with me as an anxious driver. I would recommend Gail’s (especially the Ponchatoula location) again and again. They were extremely non-judgemental. I dress alternative and have piercings/tattoos. Everyone treated me with so much respect and understanding. Thanks again!

This is and amazing school it really shows you the rules of the roads in a simple way and makes learning how to drive fun. My teacher was Mrs. Sheri and she was the most joyful person I’ve ever meet and she taught me the risk of driving. She really loved her students and would try her best to help her students understand driving the best she could. When I get older I will be bringing my children here to learn because it was just that good and I believe that Mrs. Sheri should receive a reward for her amazing teaching skills.

Had a lovely drive each time, I had each instructor, Mr. Mark, Mr. Ryan, Mrs. Victoria, and Mr. Robert as my final instructor. Everyone of the instructors were wonderful, patient, and great at keeping my nerves out of the car.
I was told tips and tricks to help me improve in my driving and even told when an issue took place so that I may correct it.
Truly a great place and very efficient.
