AVOID AVOID AVOID. It's a scam. They take your money then fail to deliver the full services.
TLDR; No one at the school answers phone calls or emails, they don't show up for the behind the wheel instruction time then try to force you to pay $150 in "cancellation fees", then wait weeks or months to reschedule, when it was all their own incompetence. AVOID. Go literally anywhere else.
UPDATED: Second kid scheduled with them after we thought the terrible time the first kid had was a fluke (2021 and COVID still had everyone's operations a little messy).
Nope. Second kid was finally scheduled after weeks of trying to get someone to answer the phone or emails about class dates, and having learned from the first kid we immediately scheduled the behind the wheel time at the end of class.
Verified TWICE that the BTW instructor would pick the kid up at home, just as they had with the first kid.
Day of instruction arrives, instructor does not. Office is closed that day so no one is taking calls.
Day two of instruction arrives, instructor does not. Call the office as soon as it opens and they claim that instructors don't pick students up, which is NOT what we were told, and NOT what we confirmed, TWICE.
Office gets rude, repeating that we cannot reschedule unless we pay $75 PER DAY in "cancellation fees" UPFRONT when we never cancelled, they failed to show up. In addition, we'd have to wait two more months before another spot opened up.
It's a scam. They take your money then fail to deliver the full services. Go literally anywhere else.

I had a wonderful experience at Victor Manning School. Ms.Alexa is the best instructor, especially for people who are nervous.
The people at the front desk were very respectful.

Learning with Freddie was an incredible experience. His enthusiasm and positive energy made every lesson something to look forward to. He didn’t just teach me very important information for driving, he also completely changed the way I approached learning, helping me build confidence and stay focused. Freddie’s unique teaching style opened my eyes to a whole new way of understanding the road, and I’m genuinely so thankful for all his support and guidance. Highly recommended!

Freddi was one of best teachers I’ve ever had. Better than most teachers I had at school. My experience at Victor Manning Driving School is one of a kind. None of my teachers have ever made a class so fun and engaging. I don’t know what they need to do but every driving school should be as fun and engaging as Freddi has made it at Victor Manning. Give that man a raise. I really appreciate all of the things he did to help us learn and absorb the information. Highly recommend for you to go to this driving school. Request Freddi as teacher. ❤️

****Update. I have just spoken to the owner about this issue. He sincerely apologized. He reassured me this was an absolute mistake and will never happen again. I would like to thank the owner for being so immediately attentive and responsive to resolving this issue.
I've just had a horrible experience with one of your drivers. He was yelling and screaming at us to move from the parking lot of LaSalle Park. He informed us that we could not park because he had to practice with his driver.
However I have just confirmed with the facility director of the Shrine on Airline that absolutely no agreement exists between Victor Manning School of Driving and LaSalle Park / Shrine on Airline.
Please inform your rude and hostile driver that until you have a usage rental agreement in place with The Shrine on Airline your business is not entitled to commandeer a parking lot for private use- regardless of any ties the owner of the business may have with JPSO. This is a highly unprofessional way to conduct business. I'm certain JPSO would agree and does not want bad PR. Please create a rental usage agreement for the back parking lots; the same as the motorcycle school does. Assuming your private business is entitled to exclusive use of a public parking lot for a taxpayer funded recreational facility exhibits public apathy.

Freddi was one of best teachers I’ve ever had. Better than most teachers I had at school. My experience at Victor Manning Driving School is one of a kind. None of my teachers have ever made a class so fun and engaging. I don’t know what they need to do but every driving school should be as fun and engaging as Freddi has made it at Victor Manning.
