I called to ask how long it would take to start the behind-the-wheel driving lessons after completing the classroom course. I was told it could take up to 120 days because “a lot of things can happen.” While I understand that delays are possible, I found this response disappointing and not very transparent. It gave me the impression that such a long waiting period may be more common than they initially want to acknowledge. If students may have to wait several months before starting the driving portion, I believe that should be communicated clearly before enrollment so people can make an informed decision

I wasnt going to do this but DO NOT PLAY WITH ME! Coach Dave's Driving School was used so that my daughter (17 yrs old) could get her driver's license. I paid the required deposit ($250) on Feb 12th for the 38hr class starting Feb 19th (Mardi Gras Class) (30 hr class and 8hrs behind the wheel) she just finished TODAY June 22nd! From the very beginning it was always something! She was required to have a TIPS card which we did go and get beforehand and they made copies and on that date I was told that an additional $50 would be required for the driving portion which I said to go ahead and charge me. So on the last day the kids take a test and one kid didnt pass and that was an issue,a violent one but only to that kid as I was told but my child witnessed it and saw all the blood but anyways. So they do advise that it would take up to 120 days and they are NOT lying so months go by and we're told oh we haven't started that class and such and such for the driving portion, I'm literally calling every month now. Finally more than two months later she starts her driving portion and she's done. So we schedule her for the road skills with them and before she takes it they are asking for her tip card again which we dont understand because you all made copies right? She shows them a picture and they're ok with that but then after she's done they tell her she needs to needs to pay the $50. Im like wait a damn minute because I paid everything already so a woman gets on the phone and says she doesn't have the funds. I tell her well check the receipt book or her file. She's going to tell me oh we dont keep receipts ! I'm literally driving and having to look up all of my credit cards because I cant remember which one I used and I hear her in the background saying yeah she didn't pay with me. Well, Mrs. Unprofessional there is no I in team and it was paid for. I finally send screenshots and now they on the phone like she's good. No apology or anything, just lack of accountability! Please dont send your kids here only to wait months to get them completed and KEEP YOUR RECEIPT BECAUSE THEY DO NOT! Then I almost paid again because I just wanted to get the process over with but thank GOD I didnt. This took time so February 19th to June 22nd! 0/10 do not recommend!

Been trying to get in contact for two weeks, no call back/no answer. Was told before we started that it would only be around 2-3 weeks for the driving portion to take place after the written exam (it has been 1 month and a half) Through text my availability was almost everyday of the week so we expected to get somewhat of early spots but no schedule/text back was given.

Enrolled my grandson 2 months ago completed and passed the written and we are still waiting to do the driving portion. I think there is only one person to teach the class and drive with the students. It is ridiculous to sign up people and not tell them before they pay that it could take up to 4 months to complete the whole course. We have called everyday for a week with no call back or response. I would not recommend this school.

Coach Dave and Ms Darrielle did an excellent job working with my 18-year-old son. He/She was very patient, communicated respectfully, and provided constructive feedback that helped build my son’s confidence behind the wheel. My son started out a bit nervous about driving, but Coach Dave created a calm learning environment and my son actually looked forward to his lessons.
One thing I really appreciated is that the training included day and night driving, as well as driving in light rain, which made the experience much more realistic for a new driver. That kind of real-world exposure is important when someone is learning.
Kelly, the receptionist and assistant, was also extremely helpful. She provided scheduling information promptly and made the process smooth and organized.
Overall, the pricing is reasonable, the instruction is thorough, and most importantly my son felt safe, supported, and heard throughout the process. I would absolutely recommend Coach Dave’s Ultimate Driving Academy to anyone looking for quality driving instruction.

AWESOME CLASS! From my initial call for scheduling the class, Ms Deb makes you feel comfortable when you call, Coach Dave is VERY through in the class, as well as the driving session. I was never nervous, or second guess myself the entire time. Awesome class, awesome people, and I'm recommending this class to EVERYONE!!!

This school was amazing, I learned so much!!!! He is such a hip cool teacher!!! I don’t even want my permit because I wanna stay in this class:( His teaching skill are exceptional and I understand completely everything, the service he offers is completely orginal which shows off how an amazing teacher he is, I even recommended his ten year old classes. Definitely worth it!!

Love this school, as a Mom, I was happy with Coach Driving Academy. Mr. Dave's patience and years of experience put me at ease not only with the course but with knowing my child was in good hands. Very thorough with training and knowledgeable concerning first time (teenage) drivers and what they are going through being on the road. My kid was nervous with me but told me he felt comfortable with Mr Dave and he did much better than I expected. Highly recommend this driving academy!

I called to ask how long it would take to start the behind-the-wheel driving lessons after completing the classroom course. I was told it could take up to 120 days because “a lot of things can happen.” While I understand that delays are possible, I found this response disappointing and not very transparent. It gave me the impression that such a long waiting period may be more common than they initially want to acknowledge. If students may have to wait several months before starting the driving portion, I believe that should be communicated clearly before enrollment so people can make an informed decision

Coach Dave and Ms Darrielle did an excellent job working with my 18-year-old son. He/She was very patient, communicated respectfully, and provided constructive feedback that helped build my son’s confidence behind the wheel. My son started out a bit nervous about driving, but Coach Dave created a calm learning environment and my son actually looked forward to his lessons.

Love this school, as a Mom, I was happy with Coach Driving Academy. Mr. Dave's patience and years of experience put me at ease not only with the course but with knowing my child was in good hands.
