Before enrolling my teen at York driving school I thought all drivers ed programs were the same but YDS raised the bar to another level. Starting with a seasoned teacher leading the instructional classes that are intentionally design to help students succeed, to the clear and quick communications on scheduling /expectations and the wonderful instructors providing driving routes curated to engaged new drivers with enjoyable, real life, confidence building driving scenarios, YDS is were you want your teens first driving experience to be.

It has been over 30 years since I did drivers ed with York Driving School, so my information is old, but I really have NO IDEA how many lives have been indirectly saved over the years by Mr Butler Jr....
It has been over 30 years since I did drivers ed with York Driving School, so my information is old, but I really have NO IDEA how many lives have been indirectly saved over the years by Mr Butler Jr. and the late Mr Butler Sr. Every year in the United States 45,000 people die in motor vehicle accidents. Having had a fair amount of experience taking care of people who have just been in serious motor vehicle accidents, I think if everyone took drivers ed with that program, the accident rate would probably drop exponentially.

Convenient location, excellent staff. It is hard to make those LONG classes interesting and keep teenagers engaged, but they do it. My daughter was very comfortable driving with the instructor, it w...
Convenient location, excellent staff. It is hard to make those LONG classes interesting and keep teenagers engaged, but they do it. My daughter was very comfortable driving with the instructor, it was so helpful. Highly recommended.

Before enrolling my teen at York driving school I thought all drivers ed programs were the same but YDS raised the bar to another level.
