Amazing driving school. I would recommend this over any other driving school in the state. Greg’s driving school does not even hold a candle to MVA. Mr. Gilliam is very experienced and knowledgeable in his field.
PLEASE take your teenager here to learn. 12/10, would recommend. Don’t go to Greg’s; go to MVA with Mr. Gilliam.

Chill teacher the classes were fun and makes driving definitely a learning experience, understands that mistakes are natural in learning and doesn’t freak out like how other peoples and definitely my parents did (which causes unnecessary stress which can result in even more mistakes). Overall great experience. Highly recommend, and Mr.Gilliams a great dude.

There are few things as important as entrusting someone to teach your teenager how to drive. After working with one company, where the instructor used the driving time to have my teen take him to a drive-through for food, I did my due diligence to find the right company. Hans was reliable, patient, and focused on the areas my teen needed improvement. I purchased additional lessons to ensure my teen had enough professional instruction on how to handle the many unpredictable road conditions. My teen passed the test on the first try and has had no accidents during her first two years of driving. It was peace of mind for me to enroll my second teen into Hans' class the day she passed her permit test.

My wife has international drivers license, and need to get MD license. I was looking for a school to help her get confidence driving in US. I called a few schools, and then spoke with Hans. We did not take any classes from him yet, but i want to share my first impression. It is outstanding. From the very beginning Hans shows care about customer, before he sells his service as everybody else. He provided us in the first short phone talk with so much advice, guidance and tips, which will save us lot's of money and make our challenge so much more efficient and fast. Thank you Hans. We look forward seeing you in school.

My son had the BEST experience with Hans Gilliam of the Motor Vehicle Academy in Cape St. Claire. He was excited to go every time! What really set Hans apart from the rest? Not only does he do what is required by the state but he goes ABOVE AND BEYOND! He provides extra workshops on top of what's required. Often these activities are very interactive and educational. He really approaches teaching our children as if they where his own. If you want your son or daughter to have a HUGE advantage on the road I highly recommend they attend the Motor Vehicle Academy. They will learn SO MUCH MORE vs. attending classes at other providers. Way better than the program at the Highschool!

We have a son who is 26 yrs young, he went to a well known local driving school and within the 1st year had a few accidents and some close calls. Then he got caught speeding in Virgina and in agreemen...
We have a son who is 26 yrs young, he went to a well known local driving school and within the 1st year had a few accidents and some close calls. Then he got caught speeding in Virgina and in agreement with the judge he took an online safety course that costs him $1100. He has been an excellent driver since. When our next son was of age for driving school, we searched for a worthy program that would keep him engaged, have smaller class sizes, teach him under the hood, situational awareness, driving defensively, use of car simulation and videos As well as hands on instruction to help complete hours needed to get drivers license. It’s been two years and we are grateful to share no accidents! We are getting ready to send our next young driver to Hans and company! We HIGHLY recommend Motor Vehicle Academy!!!

If you're looking For a Perfect driving school..here you go..Hans is the Driving Instructor/Owner. He is simply outstanding his way of teaching is needed in all classrooms, his hands on approach followed by his real life experiences makes it so easy for you to learn and Grasp the Subject, He is Incredibly Polite but also Laid back but on the same not Very serious About Drivers safety..There is so much more i could say about this Guy, Atleast go and talk with him..you won't regret it. This man gets alot of my Respect.
