The staff at CMSC Parker School, was amazing, and when I say all of them I mean all of them, my teacher Wyne. The administration where there with me every step, when I needed extra time they seen ,that got what was needed. for me to succeed , the staff in the field was patient, show and demonstrated all the techniques needed to complete the program, Will and Ralph and the rest of them helped me with out question get through. Wayne prepared us very well in the classroom and stressed over and over the importance of knowing the pretrip and air brakes BEFORE we got into the field. That knowledge made the process much less stressful in the field and I was able to focus better on maneuvers driving and shifting. The lead instructor of my class Will was the main reason why I passed the exam on my first shot. I could NOT shift and was doing TERRIBLY with it. Once he took me out shifting for just a few minutes it all clicked in my head. He also was an excellent instructor teaching the maneuvers. Every person in my class was doing very well with the maneuvers with no issues thanks to his good advice. The only problem that I could say I had with the school was that a lot of us did not get enough driving time in the field. This is not a fault of the instructors but rather its the way the class is arranged. The instructors can only do so much and get so many guys on the road with just two instructors and two trucks per six guys. Parker is a first class driving school for anyone looking to get their CDL. I went here for my class A and they prepared us to succeed from start to finish. Harry in the classroom is great with preparing you for the permit test. The guys out in the field help you learn how to be a great driver and most importantly how to pass the road test. I honestly did not have any issue what so ever with this school. I came here after paying a fortune to NETTTS. They helped me with everything nettts hadn't even bothered to go over. I learned how to actually drive since I barely went out on the road with nettts. The instructors were always patient and attentive. I only used the private lessons and yes they are costly but you can drive to the location and back giving you an hour of course and driving time.Read Less

I took the CDL B three week course. It's a lot of info to take in, but the instructors are extremely knowledgeable. I mostly worked with Harry and Bubba. Class ended on a Friday and I tested that Sunday morning. Passed first try! Pam in the office is great in helping you find employment once you are ready. One of the best experiences I've had in my adult life. I got my CDL A there about 7 yeara ago. Ive recommended this school to friends, family, and co-workers. On fb truck pages I always recommend this place. The in class instructor was very nice and informative and did not skimp out questions and helping you obtain your permit. That also goes to the driving instructors also. Very helpful, informative, and lenant in teaching you about pre trip to your road test. My daughter took her drivers education class over April vacation. The instructor was constantly on her phone during class hours. At the end of the class she told her students if they return their drivers manual they will get extra credit on their final test. This should have never happened because that is included in the over all payment and the kids should have to reference back to before they take their road test. When it came time to booking driving hours to  get her in there was a wait for a month or two and they only did driving hours on the weekdays between 2-4 and morning and afternoon on the weekend. When her first driving lesson arrived her instructor texted her to cancel because she had a "headache" this day happened to be raining which would have been a perfect learning experience for her. Her instructor also told her not to call the office to reschedule this appointment. I did call the office to find out that this is their ONLY driving instructor (and this is the same lady that teaches the class) and they also informed me that she makes her own hours. When I talked to the office lady to see if we could reschedule to a weekday after 3:30 the lady said the instructor refuses to drive at night with the kids. When children are starting out with a driving school they should be able to drive in all weather conditions unless a state of emergency, and during the day and night to get used to driving to prepare for their road test. I was fortunate enough to take the Basic Rider Course motorcycle class with Marty and JP this weekend. I had planned to simply start riding a scooter to work, but figured I should take this class first. Wow, this class is so extremely helpfu even for me as one who cycles most places in NYC now. You will learn so much from these guys and you will feel far more confident and safer on the road for the rest of your life.
