First off I want to say that SchoolOfWheels is a scam. I would put 0 zero stars but I cannot. My father payed about 700 dollars just for me to get about 12 of my driving hours canceled and only getting 2 done which were horrible experiences. Mr. Monterio is very rude and disgusting. This man acted as if he didn’t want to be there at my first driving hour. I barely knew how to drive and all he did was scream at me what to do. My father knows more about driving than him and takes his time unlike Mr Monterio brags about pilot license and all the other licenses you have. He bragged about his five star rating which is a total lie.
He disrespected African culture which I was very shocked about coming from another black man. My father told me that in life you are going to meet rude people and Mr Monterio is on top of that list. I told my father about the driving hour where Mr. Monterio disrespected me and my culture. I complained to my dad how I didn’t want to go on a driving hour with him again. I wanted to get my license to make my mom's life easier. But the fact that I was scared and worried about even scheduling another driving hour with this man is sad. It shows something.
People don’t waste your time at this Driving School. I’m telling you from experience. The way he acts towards his students is horrible. The Driving School car itself is horrid and foul. You can barely drive the car because of its horrible condition. The inside is shocking also.
I tried getting my license at the age of 17 in 2021 and this was in the summer. Because of his horrible lessons and incompetence I had to transfer to Savanna Driving School in Brockton which is an amazing school that I’ll gladly recommend everyone too. It has been a year plus since I’ve been at Savanna Driving School and I’ve recently passed my road test on my birthday thanks to Savanna and my father. But no thanks to DrivingSchoolOfWheels and Mr. Monterio.
I cannot stress this enough, if you want to learn how to drive, don’t go to DrivingSchoolOfWheels. Thank you and God Bless.

Domingo is fantastic! I was originally with another driving school, and my instructor did two lessons, then I was going to have another lesson four months later with that school. That was going to be way too long for me to wait Then, I found School of Wheels. Domingo is the best driving instructor! He was patient, calm, helpful, and when I was anxious, he walked me through what was making me anxious, and made me feel very comfortable and confident. He impressed me with his knowledge and he really cares about his students and helping them do their best. Eventually, I got my license, and Domingo was there every step of the way. I highly recommend School of Wheels! Thank you so much Domingo! It was a pleasure meeting you!

Extremely pleased with School of Wheels!!! I felt much more confident behind the Wheel and greatly improved my driving skills. Don't waste money and time somewhere else !! I was a first with Parkway driving school, after failing the exam and the owner being so unprofessional and rude I was very nervous to try again , but Mr Montiero was amazing!! Very patient, understanding, professional and good motivator.He always showed up early for my lessons and was a great instructor . I learned quickly and had no problem passing the exam .The school not only teaches safe driving but also gives good tips for passing the exam.

I really enjoyed being taught by the School of Wheels. Domingo was a great instructor.
I am 40 years old and had never spent any significant time driving. I was so scared the first time I sat behind the wheel. Domingo helped assure me that I'm going to do well. We began driving around neighborhoods with less traffic, and slowly advanced to busier streets and neighborhoods in Dedham and the surrounding areas. I appreciated his calm nature, patience and professionalism.
The School of Wheels did a great job with classroom and real time driving instructions. I passed the road test on my first attempt and I'm very happy I chose School of Wheels to teach me!

Best driving school ever! I signed up for 12 hours of driving. Domingo and Bhano are always on time to the scheduled sessions and they are both great. I had more classes with Domingo and I learned a lot from him! My driving also improved a lot and now I feel confident behind the wheel. He even took me to the highway once and showed me how to safely drive on it. He also made sure to accommodate his schedule (including early morning Sunday lessons) so I could finish my classes as soon as possible, since I was in a rush to get my license. Thanks to them I passed my road test on the first try! If you are thinking about signing up, don't think twice this is the best place to learn how to drive (besides the great/affordable prices they have). Domingo is always in a great mood. Thanks for the great conversations! It helped me relax while driving. Best driving school in the area for sure!!!

Mr. Domingo was an awesome instructor. While I have my license, I'm TERRIBLE on the highway and needed a patient experienced instructor to help me get over my fears. Friends have tried in the past, but only heightened my anxiety. Domingo structured a program just for me so that I was gradually introduced to the highway. He took into account my comfort level and slowly increasing the level of challenge so I wasn't just thrusted into the speeding lane on I-95. From my first phone call through my last lesson, he was great...always on time...and consistent.
I loved that he walks you through everything; and as a law enforcement officer, he shares with you additional tidbits about road safety that you will not see in books - like the importance of how to handle heavy rainstorms, black ice, and snow while driving on the highway. It's not just about driving slow, but strategically picking the right lane; how to handle speedsters around you; and what to do if your car hydroplanes/gets out of control.
I am spreading the word and STRONGLY recommend you call him! He's great!

I have taken classes with Domingo from School of Wheels. First of all, unlike other money minting driving schools, this school actually wants you to learn how to drive well in Boston. You may find it a little tough in the beginning but you get a good practice in and around west roxbury area, which is clearly a driving mess in Boston. Second, you get undivided attention of the instructor and a good prep session for the road test. Third, they have broad law enforcement experience that helps you understand best driving practices. Overall, totally worth it because you don't want to just pass a road test, you want to drive safely too.

School of Wheels, West Roxbury is a great school to learn the right set of instructions for driving.
My driving instructor Mr. Monteiro had been helpful all throughout the process. He clearly told me my mistakes during the classes which helped me focus on right areas and clear my road test in one go. Unlike many other schools, I was always instructed by a single instructor all throughout.
Also, Noteworthy to point that Mr. Monteiro accompanied me for the full 3 hours on the day of the road test and gave me the final tips before the test. This was really instrumental in facing the road test confidently and clear it in one go.

Do not listen to the only two negative reviews! Don't let the lack of reviews fool you this driving school is the best I have ever gone to! Sadly I wasted time at ADP auto and City auto school who like throwing random teachers and just can't teach you the basics to succeed! All they care about is getting your money and you get the blame for failing! School of Wheels is different Domingo Monteiro truly cares in fact I have been working with him for months my schedule and weather etc has been affecting us from being done but I have without a doubt I will past this road test! I have learned so much I simply didn't prior! Go to school of wheels he is not a scam and with this school I'm positive this time I will pass! When I discovered this school it was perfect ratings I feel the two negative reviews are competition driving schools or people who know those other schools owners! This man knows the law and is apart of it no worries folks go the school of wheels !

Domingo Monterio was supposed to take me out 6-8 times before my test, he ended up coming ONCE!!! and then took me for my test.When we reached the test location, he realized he forgot the papers required for the actual test. At which point we drove to his house, and then back to the location. I did pass, but no thanks to him! He always had an excuse for why he couldn't make it. And when I asked for a refund for a part of the amount ( I PAID HIM IN FULL, IN ADVANCE), he told me he would give me the money on Friday. It's since been a few months, and of course he won't respond to any of my texts! So save your time and money, and find another driving school.

This place is a scam. My friend had met with the driving instructor to set up appointments. His first appointment with her, he never showed. When trying to contact him, Domingo Monterio always has an excuse as to why he can't not keep his appointments that he has made. My friend tried to get a refund since he is clearly unprofessional, he keeps dodging her calls and making excuses as to why he can not meet up to give her a refund. He claims he is a police officer to get people to feel comfortable about using his service...buyer beware!!!

My daughter took driving lessons at the School of Wheels and her instructor was awesome. She had previously had some lessons at another driving school but still wasn't prepared to be a safe driver and for the road test. And after a couple lessons she already learned a lot more and felt comfortable because he is really patient. And she can finally parallel park! If you want your teenager to learn how to drive go to School of Wheels!

School of Wheels in West Roxbury is different than any other Driving School. They are clean, efficient, and high tech. Their instructors are amazingly qualified (my Instructor, Domingo, has many years of experience in law enforcement). Their classroom is CLEAN and COMFORTABLE! I found them very flexible for my busy schedule (they will pick you up for your lesson if that's what you need). I called MANY driving schools before selecting this one. I checked many reviews. I read many of the Yelp reviews for other driving schools first, and saw what I DIDN'T want in a school. If you have had difficulty learning to drive, or have special needs, you will find their professional approach will get you your license. For those that need extra help, they have amazing Augmented Reality Driving Simulators, something that I never saw at any other driving school. I found their prices to be very competitive, and the actual driving lessons covered every step needed to pass the Road Test. They took all the stress and worry out of getting a licence. "Thank you" School of Wheels"!

This school is Awesome! The Driving Instructor is patient and attentive to both the student and the parent! He guarantees that you will learn to drive after driving lessons with him and he sticks by his promise! My son learned how to parallel park as well as many other important driving skills while driving with the Instructor. I am very happy with my choice And I am glad that my son learned how to drive correctly and now has his license! He's pretty happy too! :-)

First off I want to say that SchoolOfWheels is a scam. I would put 0 zero stars but I cannot. My father payed about 700 dollars just for me to get about 12 of my driving hours canceled and only getting 2 done which were horrible experiences. Mr. Monterio is very rude and disgusting. I am 40 years old and had never spent any significant time driving. I was so scared the first time I sat behind the wheel. Domingo helped assure me that I'm going to do well. Friends have tried in the past, but only heightened my anxiety. Domingo structured a program just for me so that I was gradually introduced to the highway. I have taken classes with Domingo from School of Wheels. First of all, unlike other money minting driving schools, this school actually wants you to learn how to drive well in Boston. You may find it a little tough in the beginning but you get a good practice in and around west roxbury area, which is clearly a driving mess in Boston. Second, you get undivided attention of the instructor and a good prep session for the road test. Third, they have broad law enforcement experience that helps you understand best driving practices. Overall, totally worth it because you don't want to just pass a road test, you want to drive safely too.

My daughter took driving lessons at the School of Wheels and her instructor was awesome. And after a couple lessons she already learned a lot more and felt comfortable because he is really patient. And she can finally parallel park! School of Wheels in West Roxbury is different than any other Driving School. They are clean, efficient, and high tech. Their instructors are amazingly qualified (my Instructor, Domingo, has many years of experience in law enforcement). Their classroom is CLEAN and COMFORTABLE! I found them very flexible for my busy schedule (they will pick you up for your lesson if that's what you need). I called MANY driving schools before selecting this one. I checked many reviews. I read many of the Yelp reviews for other driving schools first, and saw what I DIDN'T want in a school. If you have had difficulty learning to drive, or have special needs, you will find their professional approach will get you your license. For those that need extra help, they have amazing Augmented Reality Driving Simulators, something that I never saw at any other driving school. I found their prices to be very competitive, and the actual driving lessons covered every step needed to pass the Road Test. They took all the stress and worry out of getting a licence. Diego is excellent! He was very patient with my elderly friend. He is extremely professional and cooperative. I do not know what we would have done without him. I can not thank him enough.

This school is Awesome! The Driving Instructor is patient and attentive to both the student and the parent! He guarantees that you will learn to drive after driving lessons with him and he sticks by his promise! My son learned how to parallel park as well as many other important driving skills while driving with the Instructor. I am very happy with my choice And I am glad that my son learned how to drive correctly and now has his license! He's pretty happy too! :-)

The instructor was very knowledgeable and caring with the deep concern of my driving ability I will recommend the school to everyone 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
