I just passed my road test today. Joey is an excellent and very professional instructor. He made me feel comfortable before my test. Just passed my test yesterday thanks to the instructors at Sal’s driving school. I’m super busy but it was easy to get driving time scheduled. The instructors cover everything that you’ll need in order to pass your road test and feel comfortable driving. Sal and Joey are the best. They're so nice. Sal has the kindest heart as a teacher and an instructor. He really loves what he does. The place is pricier than most places, but you actually get taught with some helpful tips you'll remember even after driving school. I'm taking lessons right now! Sal is an amazing instructor and an even better person. I feel so comfortable with him, from what I've seen in the 5 lessons I've taken, Sal has treated me and all other customers like his family. Anyone who didn't give 5 stars probably had another instructor. The price is amazing 250 for 10 lessons. He is always on time and never cancels lessons. The only thing with Sal is that his hearing isn't all that great and he can be a little forgetful but if you stay on top of him he'll do his part 100%! Love Sal! Inspectors are intimidators who fail people for extra money.i got in the car to start my road test. I Was adjusting my mirrors getting ready to put on my seatbelt when the instructor said stop relax and put my hands on the steering wheel in his best cop attitude voice.took my focus and and confidence right away. He then said pull off.the e break was on. Mind you we were on a flat street. He scribbled something down.i pulled off like he said. I did that without putting on my seatbelt. FAILED AUTOMATICALLY. Acting like a police man is how they get you. If its not that. They can fail you for no verbal communication. I asked after what the instructors name was more than once with no answer to file a complaint with the dmv. Avoid these slimy kaniving sicilians. Read Less

He is rude and really does not explain all the basics by presuming that we already know most of the drivings basics....he yells at you because of his own mistakes by not guiding you throughout the tour because he is busy attending his other customers calls, doing his paper work and all. He is though accurate and will ensure to shift you on back seat the moment you are around 40-45 min and never - never 1 minute above that. Be careful as you may struggle with the number of classes as he automatically skips and count 9/8 classes as 10. Read Less

see below review about the lack of professionalism. I called in as a concern for safety of others on the road as one of the schools driving cars was driving absolutely erratically and I dealt with someone who proceeded to yell at me and tell me what is he supposed to do people are learning to drive. I suggested that if someone is struggling to that extent and becoming a safety hazard for those around them on the road they should be pulling over and having the instructor take over and maybe go somewhere out like a parking lot to get more comfortable. He proceeded to scream at me before hanging up. The next time I see something like this I will just call the local police and have them deal with it let's see how that goes. I am absolutely appalled that this man has no consideration for the safety of others he just wants to make his money!!!!! Read Less

called sals driving school, thinking to myself that there closer to my house within a walking distance.. i took the first step made a phone call, a man picks up the phone as if he s  totally drunk. further on  i go on to asking about admissions and fees the person has very hard time talking , talking in an unprofessional mannner and in a complete slang language " not even close to professional. i felt so uncomfortable that i said to myself that i might not want to sign up here.
