They only reason I am giving a 1 star is because how good the actual driving instructor (Dave) was with my daughter. I paid the extra $130 fee for the school to administer the driving test, because it was suppose to be the same as the course Dave had her pre-test on and a car she was familiar with. The day of the test they were done in less than 10 minutes and was a completely different car than she had driven for all of her lessons. The instructor was on his phone, not paying attention (he told her to do her hand and arm signals. She stuck her hand out the windows and did them, looked over at him and he was staring at his phone. Lifted his head up and told her to do the signals. She said she did and he just moved on from it and continued the test). 10 minutes later they return and she told me she failed for 3 point turn. Explains what happened and what she was told. When I spoke with the receptionist at the Ludlow location she seemed surprised that she failed and reviewed all the notes from Dave during the instruction blocks and there was nothing of concern. She then stated that for another $100 we could reschedule over a month out. I then personally spoke with the instructor and person in the back seat to see what it was she needed to work on. It was stated "she backed up to far, onto the grass and up the hill". This explanation didnt sit right with me as it seemed way too extreme. I proceeded to the spot where the 3 point turn was conducted and there was not a single tire mark on the grass, let alone "up the hill". I took photos and video (attached) of the area, then did my own 3 point turn and backed onto the grass, which as I suspected, left a tire mark which i took a photo of. I dont know if they have a quota to fail a certain number of people or if its a money grab to get people to come back and pay more, but that is not happening.
