I took my first road test with Haidar. Even though I didn’t pass, he was incredibly patient, professional, and took the time to explain every mistake I made, which helped me improve.
For my second road test, I drove with Kahla—and I passed! 🎉 She was amazing, supportive, and gave me the confidence I needed to succeed.
I highly recommend both Haidar and Kahla. They’re the best driving instructors in town. Thank you both for helping me earn my driver’s license!

For most people, getting a driver's license is something they only do once in their life, so it's difficult to compare examiners...
I wanted to leave an honest review based on my experience with Haider.
For most people, getting a driver's license is something they only do once in their life, so it's difficult to compare examiners objectively. Also, many of the negative reviews are understandably written by people who did not pass, so they often reflect only one side of the experience.
Our family experienced both outcomes.
My son failed his first road test with Examiner Haider, even though he is a very capable driver. At the end of the test, Haider told him that he drove well and did not need much more practice. However, he had made one mistake that required a failing result. My son was disappointed, and as a father I also felt the decision was tough.
Looking back, though, I believe it was fair.
Haider explained the mistake calmly, respectfully, and professionally. My son took his advice seriously, practiced more carefully, and passed his next road test.
As parents or guardians, we should ask ourselves what is more important: that our child simply gets a driver's license, or that they are truly ready to drive safely on their own. An examiner's responsibility ends when the road test is over. Ours begins when our children drive by themselves.
Having experienced both failure and success, I can honestly say that I appreciate Haider's professionalism, fairness, and commitment to road safety. Thank you for doing a job that is not always easy.

I am not satisfied with this driving test service. I feel they did not do their job properly. It seems like their main focus is collecting money rather than fairly testing drivers.

I am not satisfied with this driving test service. I feel they did not do their job properly. It seems like their main focus is collecting money rather than fairly testing drivers.
I failed the test for a very small mistake, even though my driving was safe. I believe the result was not fair based on my overall driving performance.
A driving test should focus on safety and driving ability, not on small minor errors.

Haidar is one of the best testers in Michigan. He cares about the law and passing those who know the rules of road and are responsible and knowledgeable drivers. Especially nowadays where kids don't know how to drive, are erratic drivers that deserve to lose their license. Phenomenal instructor.

Five stars! I just passed my road test today and had a great experience. My instructor was fantastic, she was incredibly patient but also honest whenever I made a mistake, which really helped me improve quickly. She explained every maneuver and rule clearly, so I felt totally prepared and confident for the exam. Highly recommend her if you're looking to pass!

The male instructor failed my daughter. Very rude, and prejudiced against her. Gave my husband a hard time for using a rental vehicle, even though he lives out of state and always rents one when he comes home. Told my daughter, “You can drive, but I’m failing you!” What the hell???? I want my money back!!!!

I took my road test with the lady and she was so kind. I was so stressed and tense during the road test but she started to talk to me and made me feel comfortable and less tense. So kind and sweet.

If you want a tester that blows off his responsibility, this isn't the place. Chris tries to keep the kids calm and explains his expectations clearly to the driver but is very thorough in his evaluations. When it's over he took the time to tell my daughter everything she did wrong (and right) and explain the dangers that young drivers face on the roadway. He's a person that actually cares that the kids can drive safely.

I had the driving test with Kahlaa salami today, she charges 50$ if you drive your car but i had to use her car so i paid 90$. I have been driving for 9 years overseas so i didnt have problems with controlling the car and driving, i had difficulties in learning the different rules. Anyways i passed the test and had a good experience with her, she was a nice lady that is why I'm giving her good reviews.

Chris did a very complete and professional job with the driving test my son took today. He was timely, prepared, and you could tell he took his job very seriously. My son passed the test, but Chris took extra time to make sure he understood the few errors he made while driving, in order to keep him safe on the road. Chris was efficient in setting up the test, moving my son through all of the needed items and communicated clearly. We have three other kids and we will be returning to CD for their testing.

I highly recommend going somewhere else.
I have EU driving license for 10 years now. (It's not like I can't drive in US). But I needed license here. Price seemed reasonable $50, so I made a appointment with Chris in Canton.
This guy has some serious issues. I was trying to be nice to him. In the end he is your examiner.
But any argue, he take as an offense. He expect you to behave like frightened school kid. (that is what atmosphere he creates). I am sorry, but you shouldn't make a lesson to an adult (or anyone) how badly immigrants holding hamburgers drive in US.
When he was saying that I am not looking on the sides, I couldn't stay quiet. He left the car in a moment I argued that I was looking out for the traffic. Rambling something about showing off or whatever.
What he meant is - I was supposed to move my head to show examiner that I am looking around. I didn't know that at the time, but the way he was explaining my mistakes was so infuriating.
And BTW, "world will certainly thank you for failing me". In a way that hopefully they will not choose you after reading the review.
He has 2 stars for all the other things not related to his attitude.

I took my first road test with Haidar. Even though I didn’t pass, he was incredibly patient, professional, and took the time to explain every mistake I made, which helped me improve.

For most people, getting a driver's license is something they only do once in their life, so it's difficult to compare examiners objectively. Also, many of the negative reviews are understandably written by people who did not pass, so they often reflect only one side of the experience.
Our family experienced both outcomes.

If you want a tester that blows off his responsibility, this isn't the place. Chris tries to keep the kids calm and explains his expectations clearly to the driver but is very thorough in his evaluations. When it's over he took the time to tell my daughter everything she did wrong (and right) and explain the dangers that young drivers face on the roadway. He's a person that actually cares that the kids can drive safely.

Chris did a very complete and professional job with the driving test my son took today. He was timely, prepared, and you could tell he took his job very seriously.
