i have read a lot of reviews stating that you typically fail your first test so they can bring you back for a second and then pass you, and by no surprise that is exactly what happened to me. as for my instructors, dave was my first instructor and he created a friendly environment, cracking a couple jokes and even asking questions about me, he was very friendly and easy to work with you. my second instructor was jim and i cannot say the same for him. he was short and snappy with me the entire time, he asked me why i was breaking and getting a bit over when there were workers on the side of the road, and when i told him i wanted to be cautious of the workers, he responded with, “no, they can see.” he also told me to make a left lane change right before a light while there were 3 cars blocking that from happening, so as i didn’t want to speed up to pass them as it would’ve been unsafe and result in me gaining a point, i slowed down and let the 3 cars pass and was met with an extreme amount of hostility being told “the speed limit is 40” and when i tried telling him i needed to decelerate to let these cars pass so i can lane change to the left before the light, he cut me off and repeated that the speed limit was 40. the instructions given by him were indirect, unsafe, and from my understanding, just plain and simple bad instructions. i am so happy to not have to deal with this school anymore as it seems to be a money grab with very hit or miss instructors. I had PTSD from an accident 5 years ago. Hector, my instructor was the absolute. He understood my fear and was very patient, and most of all, he was very very encouraging. He helped me overcome my fear and as little credit as he takes for it, I drive safely and confidently because of him. After paying as much money as we did for the full driving courses, our son SHOULD have at LEAST passed the parking segment, and been able to complete his road test. The kid is an amazing driver. However, he is NOT good at parallel parking, and THAT is the fault of his educators at Century, because THEY are (as we found out later from many others) infamous for purposely not teaching parking well, or telling the kids what will be expected of them during the parking portion of the test, so that Century makes more money when they have to retake classes or the test. Disgusting business practices, rude staff, etc, it's all around a no from me, ever again, and I sincerely hope no one else wastes their money with this sham of a company. Read Less

I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews. I love this place! I'd highly recommend this driving school to new drivers like myself. I just finished Segment 1 with Century and had 4 different driving instructors who were very nice and calm. They made sure I understood everything, and helped me feel comfortable and confident. Also the classroom part, I think the teacher did a great job educating me and helping me understand the rules of the road. Thank you Century for such a great learning experience. Would not reccomend this place to get your license. Instructers are very rude and unless you do perfect on your driving test they will not pass you. Not going to go here again. Failed me because of one simple mistake that couldve easily been put down as a couple points instead of a complete failure. Read Less

I don't normally give reviews, but feel I need to here because they are all negative. Just because your child fails their drivers test doesn't mean this place is bad! So far 3 of my kids have taken their road tests here, and we have had zero trouble! 3 different instructors and zero trouble! They were all 3 very good with feedback after the drives! Scam Alert. Took my baby sister to get her driver license, from the get go we were treating rudely. My sister and I get there early so she can practice her parallel parking she did awesome when we did it. The instructor showwed up late and moved the cones, right away told my sister to parallel park she couldn't do it he said you failed try again later and there is no refund. Her test literally took 5 minutes. A week later we went and took the test else where she passed and now has her liscense. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I never write reviews but I feel this is an important topic so here goes...I sent my daughter to Century and she requested additional help with the parking and I was told that I had to pay for the entire class again without a discount. I have spent around $400 already and do not feel that I need to pay any more money to receive a little additional training. My recommendation is DO NOT send your children to Century.Jungle Driving School who I am sending my daughter to now, off...ers life time assistance once your child completes a segment class with them. Lot's of kids need additional training on different things or maybe just a refresher and Jungle and other schools offer additional training at no extra cost to all of their students. As a parent, I feel better knowing that I can send my child to any class for additional help if I feel she needs it to be safe. Really, safety is what training is all about.
