A couple days before my son's test, I hit a deer. The only damage to the car was the right blinker. Academy driving would not perform the test of my son (even tho he is the test subject and not the car). They would not refund, but they offered to "reschedule" for an additional fee. It must be nice that their world has no concepts of exceptions or compassion.

The instructor, I think his name was Paul, is very nice and did a good job teaching the class. Though I don't recommend taking the driving portion of the test here. If you get unlucky and get the lady in the office you will have an unpleasant time. I've had her say to hurry up cause she wanted to go somewhere after the test.
I'd recommend taking your drivers test else where.

Great experience from start to finish. The office lady is very kind and helpful.
My daughter was extremely nervous for her road test. Mainly the parking portion of it. Paul was laid back and because of his upbeat, laid back attitude, my daughter was able to relax and focus. Highly recommend.

Paul is great! My son was very nervous prior to his test, but Paul’s approach to teaching helped him relax and just focus on driving. I definitely recommend Academy!!! Paul also posts videos on YouTub...
Paul is great! My son was very nervous prior to his test, but Paul’s approach to teaching helped him relax and just focus on driving. I definitely recommend Academy!!! Paul also posts videos on YouTube so new drivers know what to expect which really helped my son prepare for his test. If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would!!

Very relaxed learning environment, but the instructors (Paul) are very on top of their students. They don't kid around during the drives nor in the classroom. If you are looking for a strict no-nonsen...
Very relaxed learning environment, but the instructors (Paul) are very on top of their students. They don't kid around during the drives nor in the classroom. If you are looking for a strict no-nonsense environment, this isn't for you! The downside is the classroom is small and a bit messy, as well as the facilities, but nothing too awful. Cheap, good, and a very efficient way to get Segment 1 out of the way.

It was great. I went I. For a driving test, they set the date to show up I did and I took the test with Paul he was very nice and passed me.

Very poor communication! My husband relieved an email for the motorcycle test stating a particular day was open. I called and was told the person that administers the motorcycle test would be out unt...
Very poor communication! My husband relieved an email for the motorcycle test stating a particular day was open. I called and was told the person that administers the motorcycle test would be out until May 2. I just called to see if anything had changed and the person is holding tests on the day I originally called for! The lady that answered the phone tried going back on what she said. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. No good communication and they employ bad staff.

A couple days before my son's test, I hit a deer. The only damage to the car was the right blinker. Academy driving would not perform the test of my son (even tho he is the test subject and not the car). They would not refund, but they offered to "reschedule" for an additional fee. It must be nice that their world has no concepts of exceptions or compassion.

The instructor, I think his name was Paul, is very nice and did a good job teaching the class. Though I don't recommend taking the driving portion of the test here. If you get unlucky and get the lady in the office you will have an unpleasant time. I've had her say to hurry up cause she wanted to go somewhere after the test.
I'd recommend taking your drivers test else where.

My daughter was extremely nervous for her road test. Mainly the parking portion of it. Paul was laid back and because of his upbeat, laid back attitude, my daughter was able to relax and focus. Highly recommend.

Very poor communication! My husband relieved an email for the motorcycle test stating a particular day was open. I called and was told the person that administers the motorcycle test would be out until May 2. I just called to see if anything had changed and the person is holding tests on the day I originally called for! The lady that answered the phone tried going back on what she said. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. No good communication and they employ bad staff.
